This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS LS6 is a rolling icon of the American spirit. The car is powered by Chevrolet’s 454 Turbo Jet Big Block 4bbl LS6 V8 mated to a 4-Speed Manual and pushing out 450hp. It is finished in a more rare Misty Turquoise (Paint Code 34) from the factory with a Black Vinyl top over a Black interior. It has a functioning Cowl Induction hood, front disc brakes, dual exhaust, and appropriate black SS stripes. It has been well maintained, starts on command, and drives true. According to the data plate, the car was assembled in Kansas City, MO during the second week of April in 1970. This is a beautifully restored Chevelle SS and you will hard-pressed to find another one this clean, with this powerplant, for the asking price offered here. Hagerty rates a number 4 car at $60k and a number one car up to $160k. Look it up. This vehicle has been thoroughly inspected and ready for a new garage. WE ARE REPRESENTING THIS CAR AS A TRUE 1966 CHEVELLE SS BUT DOES NOT COME WITH ANY PAPERWORK. ALL I KNOW IS THAT A LOT OF MONEY WAS PUT INTO CAR AND WHOEVER ENDS UP WITH CAR WILL BE TRULY SATISFIED. THIS CAR HAS GONE THROUGH A RESTORATION RECENTLY AND IS READY TO ENJOY . ONLY 80 MILES SINCE COMPLETION AND IS 99% COMPLETE. THERE ARE JUST A COUPLE LITTLE THINGS TO TAKE CARE OF AND AS YOU CAN SEE THE GLOVE BOX LATCH IS NOT SHOWING BUT WILL BE PUT ON. OTHER THAN THAT CAR IS READY TO GO. THE STREET APPEAL ON THIS CAR IS UNBELIEVABLE. PICTURES WERE NOT THE BEST AS CAR IS EXTERMELY NICE. NEW EXHAUST REBUILT DRIVE LINE, ETC. . THE 396 V-8 WAS COMPLETELY REBUILT. THE BLOCK IS NOT ORIGINAL. THIS 396 SPORTS ALL KINDS OF POWER AND DRIVES LIKE A DREAM. THE INTERIOR HAS BEEN RESTORED WITH CORRECT 1966 SEAT COVERS AND AS YOU CAN SEE THE REST OF INTERIOR SHOWS EXTREMELY WELL. THE PICTURES OF THE OUTSIDE SHOW ONE BEAUTIFUL 1966 CHEVELLE. THE CAR IS IN FLORIDA AS MY FRIEND WHO IS FROM EASTERN MICHIGAN TOOK A COUPLE OF HIS CARS SOUTH FOR THE WINTER BUT DECIDED HE DID NOT WANT TO STORE TWO CARS WHILE HE IS DOWN THERE.
