1990 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24, 2 door coupe, clear title It has not been washed in a few weeks and it was too cold out so we apologize for that. My brother bought this car in July 2015 and regrettably has to sell it due to unforeseen $ issues that are not related to the car in any way. Mileage of 52,203 is original miles! We were told it was garage kept and not driven often. Upon purchasing we had it looked over and our mechanic agreed it was probably garage kept. It had ALL original parts on it at the time to include spark plugs & wires which were changed out for new, new oil change & filter, and a transmission tune up just because of its age. It was also noted that the gas line was starting to dry rot due to age so it also has a new gas line and gas tank (the gas tank was not needed but my brother wanted a new one anyhow). He also put in a $1000 system with a kicker, amp, and new stereo. We still have the original stereo that you can have if you want. The tires on it now are 16" that are in great condition. There is another set of 14" that goes with it (original tires) but 2 of the 4 are bald. The only issue with the car is that the headliner is loose. • 1995 Chevy Cavalier 2.2L I4 Engine Manual NEEDS BODY/FRAME WORK • • Description • For sale, this is a '95 Chevy Cavalier with 183,333 miles on it. It has been sitting for about 6 months so I'm not sure if it will be drivable or not. It was driven daily to New Ken and back for several years. It does start, shift, and steer fine. Standard transmission, 5 speed. About 35 mpg. Needs tires and probably brakes. AC does not work. Mechanic owned and maintained, but he doesn't do body work. Interior is in good shape. Manual windows and locks. Newer heater core and fan. It needs A LOT of body and frame work - will not pass PA inspection as is. No broken glass or missing parts. Inspection expired in December. Price Reduced - 10% Off Asking Price - Happy Holidays!!! Great Car. Many new parts and upgrades on the past year. I believe in being an honest seller, as you can see in my feedback score. So, here are the good and bad points with this car. This car has been gone over thoroughly and I have upgraded or repaired any items that were worn or damaged, other than cosmetic flaws in the paint and interior. Interior is worn as shown in pics. The driver seat is a little worse for wear and has some tears (not very clear in camera angle). The rear seat has a wear mark about the size of a silver dollar. The passenger seat is in good shape, but the side cover and recline latch handle is broken. Driver's side visor fabric torn. Heater fan switch only works on high speeds. Low speed doesn't work. Paint in descent condition with some fading on rear spoiler and bumper and some scratches here and there (mostly on the trunk and rear bumper). The side ground effects have cracked slightly where most of these cars did on the rear. Check Engine light is on for a "Phantom" MAP Sensor code. Sensor is new GM Delco. Car was parked for a few years with a bad clutch and code came on when I put the car back on the road (guessing that a rodent got to a wire somewhere). Does not affect drivability or performance. If you would like to have it scanned, there are several local parts stores that will do it for free. Car has just shy of 180,000 miles. The engine was replaced in 2000 at 117,000 miles with a low mileage engine under 30,000 miles. Car runs and drives great. Tracks straight with no pulling under acceleration and braking. Unfortunately, cruise control does not work. Inspected through 3/15. I have been using this car as my daily driver. I am the 1st & 2nd owner. Ex-wife bought the car new. Gets around 30 MPG. Title in hand. Notary nearby. Note: Pictures with the top down were taken before the top and seals were replaced. The pictures show the old wore out header seal.
