Below is a description of the Work done to the Interior, Exterior and Motor. Exterior: · All Black Paint with a Matte Black Wide Stripe and Pin-stripe Down The Center o The paint color is a match to Mazda Black o The Matte is properly sealed o Front and Rear Bumpers, Door Handles, Grille Shell, Headlight Bezels, and Most Trim is color-matched. They are painted but very well done with the proper primer and adhesive promoter + Clear coat. · ASANTI 3 Piece Forged Wheels with perfect Chrome in the Rear and Matte Black Centers. These wheels are well over $5k new without tires. They are Staggered with 12” WIDE IN THE REAR and NO Rubbing at all!!!! · 1971 Front Grille: I like this better than the 72 because of the Two Part vs. Three Part Design. I preferred the 72 Corner Lights though so I kept them. · Removed Fender Trim · Tinted Tail Lights with L.E.D. Drivetrain: · Ford 9” Rear End with TRAC-LOCK Third Member o New Housing built specifically for this car with billet housing ends o New 31 Spline Axles · LS1 Out of a 2002 Camaro. No internal modifications to the motor as I planned on doing this myself (Never got to it). o NO need to worry about carburetors or cold starts as this could be a daily driver! o Corvette Engine Covers (Had To because they look awesome) o In-Line Fuel Pump With painted stock fuel tank. § Braided Stainless Fuel Lines. o I replaced all sensors in the motor and had the Chevy dealership run the proper relearn procedure on the car. o I replaced the Intake Gasket and Valley Cover Gasket while cleaning the Motor. § · Headers and 3” exhaust from front to rear with true Dual Mufflers and Flowmaster Dumps before the rear end. o Catalytic converters tuned out with working pair of O2 Sensors · Custom Dual Ram Air Intake and Custom Built and Painted Radiator Shroud made specifically for this setup Suspension: · CUSTOM UMI Adjustable Rear 4-Link upper and lower control arms with new bushings. (Powder Coated Red) o Steel ball joints · UMI Rear Sway Bar (Red) · Tubular Front Upper and Lower control Arms from CPP (Powder Coated Black · Front Sway Bar Brakes: · WILWOOD Dynapro Red Rear Disc Conversion with Built in Parking Brake! · NEW stock Disc conversion to Front with ceramic pads · New 1 1/8” Power Disc Master Cylinder · New Brake Lines o Braided in rear · New 11” Power Booster · New Proportioning Valve · New Parking Brake Cables and custom integration into Wilwood rears I planned on keeping this car for a lifetime, and finally have finished this project. My goal was to build a $50k pro touring car which could serve as a reliable head-turner that would rival any chevelle on the road. This car is just that. It is not a nuts and bolt restoration as I am not a stock guy and was able to stretch my money far greater without concerning myself with every stock detail. There are many cars out there selling for $50-100k that are great but they are too damn expensive. This is your chance to have an affordable custom that you shouldn’t be afraid to drive. Please feel free to come out and see it before bidding as I believe you will love it. If I were keeping it for the rest of my life, the following are modifications or improvements I would make: · Perfect the paint: I would give the paint a 6 or 7 out of 10 as there are some places where the paint isn’t perfect. I debated perfecting it but figure if it was perfect, I would never drive it. The drip panels and the roof would be the only parts I would paint. Roof has some small bubbling from waxing it in the heat of the day. · Perfect the alignment of the Driver Side Door Panel and the head light bezel: I replaced this whole door as there was a large dent on the side of the old one. I still haven’t spent the time to get the alignment perfect. The head light bezel and hood just need to be adjusted. · Change the Oil Pan Gasket: This gasket has a very slow oil leak (not dripping at all just a little oil on the oil pan). I would replace this gasket and maybe put a performance oil pan in. · Put a Stainless or Aluminum Fuel Tank or Fuel Cell in · Maybe Carpet the trunk. · Put aluminum Trim around the instrument panel as there is a tiny bit of cracking in the places on the dash that flex near the gauges (Maybe $15-20 creative custom touch) Additional notes on the car · No Codes or computer issues as the motor was tuned following conversion (HP and Tq?) · I am still using the Stock PCM from the 2002 Camaro. Works Great. · Notched Frame to maintain stock oil pan. · Only 1600 miles on the car since the conversion and the previous owner said the Camaro had 58k miles at the time of conversion.
