2 1960 CHEVYS FOR 1 BID This auction is for 2 1960 Chevy's. One is a wagon and the other is a 4 door Belair. The intentions were to use the 4 door as a parts car but it is a very buildable car, so that will be up to the next owner. The wagon is an ambitious build but is not the worst I have seen. All the glass is included with the wagon except for the windshield. There is also bundles of trim, exterior and interior, all gauges, grill, front and rear bumpers plus more. It will need floors from front to back. Drivers quarter will need replaced. Firewall is nice as is the cowl areas upper and lower. The 4 door is as you see it. There are no seats in the 4 door and will need the back seat bottom only in the wagon. Trunk floor in the 4 door looks good and both frames look to be good as well. The wagon was a v8 car and had a factory padded dash and power steering as some of the options. Most of the trim pieces and interior items for the wagon are pictured inside the 4 door. The glass as mentioned is present but not pictured. THIS ONE IS THE ONE!!! Never did I ever think I would be selling this wagon but the time has come......I guess. Still not thrilled about it but here goes...This has got to be one of the best/most fun cars I have owned. It steals the show where ever you go.... The glass is in great condition. The interior is still nice with no rips or tears in the seat. headliner has one small tear in the very back corner that is rarely seen. The bed is not beat up and the bed trim does not have any holes in it. It has backup lights. The transmission is a 3spd on the column and shifts well. It drives well.Any rust issues seem to have been addressed in the restoration and holding up well as there is no rust showing through the paint. The car has just come out of an extended dry storage so some tinkering could be required but I have gone through quite a bit of it. This was an original west coast built car. The factory color was a rare Suntan Copper with gray interior with tinted glass. I do not have a way of getting pics underneath but have tried to take some from the ground. The floor pans were replaced in the restoration and are holding up just fine. WOW, you don't find these much these days! This 1960 Impala hardtop is a time capsule. It's prior owner had it for 30 years. It is an original Kansas car and you can tell! The PAINT IS ORIGINAL and has some patina that looks great and will only continue to get better. It has the original dealer installed AC and looks to be all there. It has the 283 and Powerglude transmission. The original padded dash is even in good condition for its age. There are some records in the glove box for services done during the 80's in Kansas and the coolest little paper holder on the dash that notes the oil changes. These hardtops look awesome lowered!! The originals red and white houndstooth interior is old and has some splits. Carpet is decent for its age and there is no headliner. All of the lights, including the glove box light and dome lights work. The wiper work as well. The glass is decent with just a few bubbles around the edges of a couple of windows. The brakes are up and have had some recent work to them. The 283 is tired and could use a freshen up but does run and smokes, it think a valve may be stuck from sitting but seems to be getting better the more I run it. The car is super solid with only rust being in the rear floor pans centers and a small area down low on the outer quarter on the passenger side ( inner quarter is great) and a small spot on the front fender lip on the passenger side down low. Trunk is solid. The car is VERY solid and a real cool original car. The wheels have been upgraded to 15" rally's at some point. These don't come along often especially in this condition and to be all original and nothing hidden so now is your opportunity to own this gem. RARE FINDSWB FLEET-SIDE Here is a truly sought after truck and this one will make a great one to start with. It is very solid where it counts.The 6 cyl engine runs. It has a new distributor cap, resistor, new plugs, new plug wires and a fresh rebuild kit in the carburetor.I have run it off of a gas can because the tank will need to be flushed. There are new brakes parts for the brakes, they are not up. It has a NEW tinted windshield. The truck has been stored inside for most of it's like. Underneath the truck is incredibly solid as you will see in the pictures. The cab steps are awesome and the floor is great as well! The inner fenders almost look new!! The truck will need the outer cab corners only, a little rust on the bottom of the passenger door outer skin and the tailgate and inner bottom of the bed where it meets the wood. All of which is a very easy fix. You would be hard pressed to find a truck this solid for the money. The truck has been sprayed in primer over the years to preserve it, not to hide anything. There is a spot above the passenger headlight that was an attempt to fix a dent and any of the other dents are what you see, so nothing is hidden. Just a great start to a very rare and cool looking truck. What a cool ride! GREAT patina!!!! 68 C10 SWB Big back window pickup. It has a lot of new parts. New door weatherstipping, new door handles, new rubber floor covering, New door sill plates, new dash pad, New sun visors, New chrome grill trim, New side reflectors, New windshield rubber (not installed), New window rubber sweeps, new tailgate trim plus a lot more. Under the hood it has a new water pump, new starter, new heater core, new brake master cylinder, new battery, new plugs and wires, new points, new distributor cap, new rotor, new belts and hoses, new condenser. The bed is raised and made of old barn wood and the wheel tubs are made of an old barrel. The truck has been lowered by cut springs and has 22' wheels and tires. The truck gets a ton of attention with the perfect patina. Runs and drives great. The 6 cyl runs like a top. The powerglide does need reverse, it is out. The truck has rust but is not terrible and is part of the character of the truck. The cab corners and rockers have a small amount of rust. The cab floor has been patched and there is some rust through around the windshield. It will need a new windshield and the rubber is new that comes with the truck as stated before. It is a cool truck and would be awesome on air ride and a later model V8. The reserve is set low enough that you can buy this truck and still do those things to it and still get your money back when sold.
