For sale is a highly collectable heavily optioned 1 Owner 1996 Corvette LT4 Convertible with 19,665 carefully driven miles. I am the original owner and custom ordered this Corvette from the factory in February 1996. It has been garaged it's entire life and well maintained. It has been started and driven monthly to insure that the seals and gaskets remain lubricated and the tires don't get flat spots. I ordered every option available for 1996 Base Convertibles as you can see from the Original Window Sticker picture and also listed below. I even ordered the spare tire along with the Run Flat Tire option. The spare has never been used. The Options are: · LT4 330HP Engine with 6-Speed Manual Transmission · Corvette Convertible Preferred Equipment Group o Electronic AC o Bose Music System with AM/FM Stereo Radio with See-Scan Digital Clock and Stereo Cassette Tape. o 6-Way Power Drivers Seat · Bose CD Player and Delco Loc II · Removable Hardtop · F45 Selective Real Time Dampening · Leather Adjustable Sport Bucket Seats with Lumbar · 6-Way Passenger Power Seat · Low Pressure Tire Warning · Extended Mobility Run Flat Tires · Dealer Installed o LoJack Vehicle Recovery System (dealer installed option) o Secondary Alarm (dealer installed but has been disabled) I took delivery of this car on April 9th 1996 from Ramp Chevrolet in Port Jefferson, NY. In additional to being registered in New York it was also registered in California and now Rhode Island as it followed my relocations. All cross-country transport was done in a closed carrier. This car is accident free and all paint is original. Paint shines like new because of the garaging and meticulous detailing. I change the oil and filter annually using factory recommended Mobil 1 oil. I detailed it for many years using a good grade of Zymol wax and during the past several years I Clay Bar, Polish, Jet Seal and then apply Chemical Guys Carnauba wax. The car has been garaged it’s entire life and only goes out in nice weather. In the winter season it is driven from it’s heated garage then up and down my driveway monthly. In May 1997 I purchased a set of chromed OEM Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 wheels from Corvette Mike in CA (original receipt will be included). They have been on the car since I received them and after nearly 18 years they are showing age from pitting and peeling (inner part of wheels). I have the original OEM wheels that came with the car and they are included in the auction although the buyer will need to pay for the separate shipping of those wheels. I can calculate the additional shipping cost. Every fall and spring I use 303 on the weather strip and other rubber exposed items. Because of this treatment the weather strip has held up well for their age but there are some signs of age along the inside bottom of the windshield. Front tires are original and rears were replaced in 2004 due to one not holding air so I replaced both with correct Goodyear GSC OEM tires in order to maintain same tread depth in the rear. The car was just serviced in August 2015 to have Brake Fluid Flush and Change, Transmission Fluid Change, Cooling System Flush and Change and Rear Differential Fluid Change. At the same time I had the Serpentine Belt replaced, Fuel Filter replaced and an O2 Sensor replaced. It also passed RI State Inspection and issued a sticker that is valid until August 2017. I have most of the service receipts (might have all but can’t promise) that will also be included along with the original owners manual, case, Hardtop fastening tool, bill of sale, window sticker, 1996 Corvette Brochure and original OEM wheels. I will also include the hardtop hoist, storage assembly and cover (see photo) which I purchased from an aftermarket supplier. I’m not aware of any issues with this car. Everything works as it should. Front air dam (black) has some scrape marks from going into my driveway in CA (streets and driveways there tend to have a sharp angle for water run off) but not broken. One of the BOSE emblems is missing from a rear speaker and there is a very small scratch near the left fog light that I highlighted in the video. If you would like to have the vehicle inspected I can work with your inspection service. As with any vehicle that has been driven there are sure to be some signs of wear even through this car has been carefully driven and stored. Please ask any questions now as all sales are final.
