This is an offering for a unmolested 1972 Chevelle FACTORY Numbers Matching SS Convertible. This car came from a high end Chevelle collector. He purchased the car from Barrett Jackson. The car shows the original paint color (per VIN tag), Hugger Orange with white stripes. Mileage reads 79,000 and is believed to be original miles. Prior owner states this is a 1 of 1 Special Factory Order with the options listed below. This 1972 is a clean, matching numbers SS with documentation, L48, automatic, factory A/C, power top, power steering, power disc brakes, factory cruise control (rare), factory power door locks (rare), original factory tinted glass, full lighting package, and remote mirror. The car has an after-market radio currently installed, but I am including the original radio. The original radios functionality is unknown. The Chevelle has an un-cut dash, super hard to find this day and age. It has the original factory SS package with tack and gauges, cowl hood, and the SS wheels. There is an Edlebrock carb on the engine now, but the car will also come with the original QudraJet carb, its condition is unknown. Comes with the original Protecto plate and the original owners signature releasing the car from the dealership in 1972. The interior shows quite well. Carpet, seats (both front and rear) are in great shape. The top is mechanically good - functioning as it should. The tops upholstery has a couple of small tears where the top folds. This is strictly cosmetic. Finally - the original keys, manual, and other random literature from the original owner is also included. Tough to find a factory gem - this is one. The Chevelle is mechanically sound and is visually pleasing to all. Fly in, drive home - this car is ready for Route 66. I have no problem helping get to the car to any dock in the Bay Area for shipping outside the US - of course, local inspections and drives are not only acceptable, but encouraged.
