True documented rare SS ordered from factory with 396 engine, 3-speed Muncie floor shift and bench seat. . Ordered in June 1969 and delivered to the owner on August 2, 1969 by Bill Turner Chevrolet in Forest City NC. The car was ordered by one of my high school classmates and has had three owners, none more than 30 miles from the dealership. Please read the complete description below of the 18 month total frame-off restoration by a professional with over 40 years experience. I have the original protecto-plate, build sheet, and owners manual. Clear title in hand. It has a show quality restoration, but was restored with the intention of being able to drive anywhere. The speedometer shows 62,800 miles, I have talked to the past owners of the car and they feel the mileage is correct, however, since I can't verify it through paperwork, the car is being sold with mileage unknown. Approximately 150 miles on the car since restoration. Engine: 396/350HP. Engine was disassembled, the block was vatted, decked, and bored .030 over. Line honed, new freeze plugs, cam bearings, and reassembled with original crank turned .010. Eagle SIR I-Beam rods, JE pistons, Comp high energy 268 Cam, ARP bolt kit, new Milodon oil pump with new oil pan and timing cover. Complete valve job on original heads cut .010. New GM HEI distributor, fuel pump and new Quadrajet carburetor and radiator, pressure plate and clutch. Transmission:Original heavy duty Saginaw was disasembled, inspected, cleaned, painted and reassembled with new seals. Rear End: Original 12 bolt, 331 Ratio rear end cleaned, painted and serviced, with new gasket. Frame:Rust free frame was pressure washed and painted with POR15 chassis paint. New front brake calipers and pads. Rear drum brakes disassembled, cleaned and reassembled with new wheel cylinders and brakes, New Brake Master Cylinder. A-Frames blasted and powder coated with new ball joints, bushing kit and new tie rods. New shocks installed and a new stainless steel fuel tank with new fuel sending unit. Original Factory 14" SS wheels were blasted and painted with 4 new TA Radials mounted. New SS wheel centers were installed with new trim rings. Body:All original rust free floor pans and trunk were pressure washed and painted satin black. The body was media blasted with the only rust around the rear wheel openings. New rear quarter panels and wheel tubs were installed. The body was sealed with epoxy primer, then 5 coats of correct Lemans Blue metallic (Code 71) Chromabase was applied followed by 5 coats of Urethane Clear. The car was lightly color sanded, buffed and polished to a beautiful, better than factory new finish. The trunk was cleaned and painted with correct color Zolotone spray. The car has the original Jack and spare SS Wheel. Factory correct trunk mat installed. All new exterior emblems, complete new grille assembly, all new exterior lights and lens assemblies, and new bumpers matched to a new Magniflo exhaust system with correct chrome extensions. Interior:interior was stripped to the bare metal, cleaned, side and bottom sound-proofing installed with new carpet, correct new pre-assembled SS door panels, headliner, and newly recovered seats.A new Dash pad was installed with a new dash Assembly and new correct SS steering wheel. Original speedometer and warning lights work properly. A new Pioneer Stereo system was the only change to the original interior. A new windshield and rear window were installed. The original tinted side windows were used and have a few small scratches from 45 years, but nothing that detracts from the overall restoration. (cannot be captured in photos). The only upgrades to this factory correct vehicle was the upgrade of distributor to an HEI, new one-wire alternator and Pioneer Stereo system. This completely documented Chevelle is as nice as you will find anywhere and the reserve is way below the Classic Car, Excellent condition, value. Bid with confidence. Inspections during the auction are welcome and encouraged since this is an AUCTION, and if you are the high bidder, once the reserve is met, you will own the car. I will assist with shipping, if desired at the purchasers expense.Additonal photos of the restoration are available. I will gladly answer any question, 828 429-1750.

1966 C-10 Long Bed Show Truck/Hot Rod. This truck went through a complete frame off restoration in late 2012. It has been garaged every day since and never been in the rain since restoration. Truck has been driven approximately 800 to 900 miles since engine and vehicle restoration. I take this truck to several local car shows each year and win most of the time in the truck or best in show categories. This truck is just that nice! Please do not ask me “how does the Rockers Look” or “is there any rust in the truck” or is the floor pans solid and rust free” This truck was taken down to all good sheet metal and if there was rot, rust, or anything, it was replaced. Hood is original, doors original, both front fenders replaced, bed sides original, tail gate replaced, inner fenders original, all glass replaced, bumpers replaced, cab original, wood in bed replaced, gas tank replaced, rear end original, engine replaced, transmission replaced, all chrome replaced, grill replaced, head light housing replaced, radiator original, original dash, and gauges. That should cover 95% of items it takes to restore one of these. Zero bondo, zero. This truck has well over $30,000.00 invested. Engine: a 350 bored 30 over, with vortec heads, headers, dual exhaust, Holly 4-barrel carb, power steering, power disc brakes. The engine was professionally built local by Carolina engineering and was built and added parts to get her to just over 400 HP and 485 FPT. It is a beast of an engine with more power that anyone would need to scorch the tires and it has a real nice cam so it sounds awesome running or at idle. This truck turns heads no matter the circumstance. It has the original 411 gear read end (this was a farm truck back in the day that we pulled the 3-speed on the column and 6-cylinder engine). It was hunter Green and I have many before and after pics if the successful buyer would like them, as well as, many restoration pictures. The transmission is a Muncie M-20 4-speed (came out of a Corvette) that complements the low gear read-end very well and does not tach out at 60 MPH now like the SAG that I replaced. The Muncie is in great working condition and shifts great. Still has the six-lug pattern and ridding on 275/50/R15’s Fire Hawk Indy 500 white letter tires. Again, tires are almost new with roughly 800 to 900 miles driven on them. Truck stops very well and with power front disc brakes. Truck drives straight and you can steer it and drive it with one finger. No pulling and crabbing at all. Tracks and rides good. Interior: you can see the original bench seat was recovered in black and white “hounds tooth” cloth and no issues with comfort, etc. Gas tank is new but still behind the seat. Did not want to change too much of how this truck would have been originally other than drive train and paint color. Truck is painted in “Huggar Orange” with Antique White Accents and Top. This is a true Custom Cab but obviously all chrome was replaced with new. I am 4th owner of this locally purchased C-10. I polished and left the original dealer metal decal (Burwell Chevrolet, Spartanburg, SC) as this truck was purchased locally, remained local to this day. This truck looks better in person. Orange vehicles do not photograph as well as black, white, and other colors. I assure you, the body lines, gaps, and paint is outstanding and near perfect. I used my iPhone to take the pics in the middle of the day so they just don’t take as well as taking them with a better camera from the inside of a warehouse like most places do. Price is $25,000.00 and well worth the money. Truck can be seen (serious buyers only) by appointment only. Truck is located in Western NC (50 miles from Asheville and 70 miles from Charlotte). My Cell phone is (828) 755-4642. No Pay Pal, just a certified cashier’s check from your bank for payment. I have seen the many scans with selling on-line so want-to-be scammers, beware. I will not ship, send you Jack (money) to sell my truck. Please don’t try me. Best of luck! Mark
