Hello Everyone! Up for auction is a 1985 Chevy Citation 2. V6 Electric Carburetor. It runs and drives! It’s been out of inspection since September/2012. It starts right up! It has a new engine and radiator. The new engine has fewer than 3,000 miles on it and came new from RockAuto. The car drives awesome with the carburetor disconnected from the ECM. It does OK connected too though it appears to run a little lean and the response time is a bit slower. It has even stalled on me, therefore I always just left it unplugged and never had a problem. You have to have it plugged in to get it passed emissions though! It runs rich so it puts the hydro carbons up and won't pass. Needs minor body work and could stand to be repainted as even though the body is pretty solid, the doors are rough. To prevent surface rust it should really be sanded down and painted. The front passenger corner and drivers side rear has minor damage. Please look at the pictures. Interior is OK but could stand a good cleaning. If you ever had a Citation in your lifetime you know about the rear hatch shocks! The rear hatch needs new shocks to support the hatch without having to hold it or keep it propped up with something. The A/C has a small leak and therefore has stopped working. It has been converted to 134A. As you will note in the picture the Citation is missing 1 hubcap. I am selling the Citation as I don’t have the time and money to put into it anymore. It was a great back up car and drove beyond awesome in the snow!!! It would make a great car for someone with the time to invest into it! There are not many Citations on the road anymore! This year marks this Citation an antique! Buyer is responsible for picking up the car or making arrangements to have it shipped, etc. Also must pay taxes, title and tag fees. The interior and the exterior are in near perfect condition. I could find no scratches or dents and there are no rips or stains on the inside. Everything works inside except for the traction control button. It is currently inspected until the end of May next year, but we took a look at it anyway. Our tech says the front wheel bearings are a little loose and noisy, and the left rear axle seal is leaking a little. That's it. Not bad and it only has 31,000 miles. selling my 2001 CHEVROLET PASSENGER CONVERSION VAN with deluxe LT trim. I just decided to sell it because I recently purchased a downsized vehicle and did no longer need the space this offered any more, otherwise this was just about my everyday driver and it was extremely well maintained. whatever it needed, I had it done. it has current recent Pennsylvania inspection and Pennsylvania has one of the most stringent inspection requirements, so its mechanically very sound and should not need anything. all inspections were done at a certified Chevrolet dealer and at the last inspection I had put about $3000 into it which included new brakes/rotor work all the way around and new back tires. im quite fussy, so this van has been meticulously maintained and I would consider it in excellent condition both exterior and interior. what originally attracted me to this van was that is was a very tasteful passenger conversion that was not a bulky high top with tacky wood work and Christmas light trim and it was not a plain passenger type van, but rather a great combination of the two. I believe GM made this type strait from the factory only a couple years which makes it kind of uniquely special. when I bought this van from florida I saw its original window sticker and it was originally slightly over $40,000 when purchased new. since ive owned it I replaced its original vhs player with a new dvd player. theres only one issue I should mention and that is about two weeks ago the fuel gauge needle started to vibrate and is somewhat inaccurate as to the exact fuel level which is most likely that just the sending unit needs replacement, not an immediate concern but still I needed to mention it. I can be totally honest with this vehicle and do not need to hide any issues because there are none. its ready to drive and has many miles of life yet to offer. all serious inquiries can feel free to email me or we can connect over the phone.
