This is a rust free and very solid Southern Tennessee car. It has previously had a complete frame off restoration that was completed approx. 3 years ago. It has been garage kept and driven very little to local shows since its completion. It has only been driven approx. 3500 miles in nice weather only!The car is finished in beautiful tuxedo black paint. The car is slick and straight and offers a mirror image shine. All of the chrome glass stainless still shows beautifully. The original rear bumper shows some wear. It is riding on corvette rallys or you may have choice of the style steel wheels with dog dish caps and new black wall radial tires. All of the body panels appear to be original NO patch work very solid. All of the body lines look excellent and all panels fit nicely as they should! I had my guy put this car on the lift he said it was the most clean solid rust free car he has ever been under!The interior has also all been replaced new or restored to look new. The bright red just pops against the slick black paint. The car has seatbelts in the front and none in the rear. The arm rest were never installed and I don't have them also the chrome on steering wheel appears to be original and shows some pitting. Up for sale is a really nice 1969 Camaro convertible that we purchased approx a month ago at a show in Tn. We were told the car has been in Southern N.C. most of its life. This car is turn key ready to drive show and enjoy. It has been inspected and everything on this car is in proper working order! ALL lights, wipers, signals, horn, radio, power top etc all works!! I have driven this car quite a bit myself personally and it hits the road excellent with NO known mechanical problems! It has a non matching # 350 with an automatic trans and factory 10 bolt rear end geared at approx 3:23. It is a good stock build motor very mild cam and runs excellent on pump gas. This car is equipped with power steering and power brakes (drum brakes all around stops great no problems) I was told the drivetrain was completely rebuilt when restored and the car has had approx 15,000 or less miles placed on it since it was completed. Sounds great runs smooth, It is a good tight riding convertible! This car has a stunning color combo and it gets attention and turns heads everywhere it goes! According to the trim tag this car is a factory code 52 garnet red and when it was restored it was finished in its correct factory color. The paint looks and shows great. It is very slick and straight and is accented nicely with a white hockey stripe. During the resto this car was fitted with a cowl induction hood and SS badges this car is NOT a real SS However it was an original V8 car! All of the body panels look and fit excellent and it lines up great. The aftermarket cowl hood could use a little adjustment but that's me being picky. All of the chrome, stainless, emblems, bezels, lenses, etc were replaced new and still presents itself extremely well! The glass appears to be original to the car but still shows very very well for its age! The under carriage is very solid no signs of rust. The trunk looks great also and is fitted with correct mat, jack and spare tire. The interior is white standard. It shows very well no rips or tears. It is white so least little thing gets it dirty and I'll be the first to admit it looks a little cleaner and brighter in the pictures and it could use a thorough cleaning The drivers seat shows just a little light wear on the edge along the piping. It is fitted with console and correct factory shifter and all factory seat belts are in place. The car is equipped with a power convertible top and it works excellent, Goes up/down rapidly with NO problems. All instrument gauges light up brightly and work properly. The car has an aftermarket am/fmcass radio it works great but a little out of date I'd suggest adding a nice cd player in the future. This is what I would consider to be a really nice driver. The paint is extremely nice! It is slick, straight, has a high shine, NO trash NO runs, NO orange peel. The paint has what I would consider to be normal wear as far as few very minor chips way down low on rockers that has been touched up. I would rate the paint on this car a 8.5 on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being perfect. All of the body lines and gaps are as good as it gets. All chrome, stainless, emblems etc shows very very well The car has all factory tinted glass and it is impressive! NO disappointments with the paint and body on this one! I was told this car has all of its original interior. It shows very impressive for its age! No rips or tears and everything is intact like it should be. There is some light fading/discoloration on the door panels, kick panels, carpet and steering wheel due to age and fading. The seat covers, headliner dash pad are very nice. The undercarriage is clean through out NO signs of rust or repair all original floors. It comes with a folder of receipts documenting all work done on drivetrain. The engine bay has been nicely freshened up and detailed through out. It is now stuffed with a non matching # 396 engine w/ aluminum intake 4 barrel carb, polished headers. Tehe car runs VERY strong and Sounds excellent NO problems. Estimated 350 H.P. Has a BRAND NEW Richmond 4 speed transmission (costs $1,600) and stock 10 bolt rear end. It has a non matching # 327 sounds great runs VERY strong NO problems with a factory 4 speed transmission that shifts as good as new and a 10 bolt rear end geared perfect for long trips as well as around town at approx 3:23. The car is equipped with power steering, drum brakes, still has factory hubcaps, bucket seats/console. It has recently been serviced and inspected and checks out well mechanically! (NO PROBLEMS!) The car appears to be all original sheet metal and is very solid! All chrome, glass, stainless etc also appears to be mostly original but looks exceptionally well for its age. We were told the paint on this car is approx 18 years old. ( If you want a show car it will need repainted) I had this car wet sanded and buffed all over and it has a nice shine and is slick, but due to its age has imperfections chips that have been touched up, few minor dings etc. What I would call good driver quality paint. The floors, trunk are solid original. The engine bay has been nicely cleaned and detailed and presents itself very well. The interior on this car is absolutely amazing condition! It is clean through out, no rips or tears! It has bucket seatts w/ factory console. All gauges interior lights work. The headliner is great also. This car is very true and a nice car.
