I have a very hard to find 1965 Chevelle 2dr wagon to sell. I have every piece to put the wagon back together except for the engine. This car has been disassembled for over 25 years at the hands of the former owner. He had to many projects, as do I. I have gotten the Chevelle out of the barn and done a lot of work to assemble all of the needed parts to put back together. My idea was to build it into a sedan delivery rather than retain the windows but suit yourself. I usually prefer my cars to be stock but this would be a cool project! There is not an ounce of rust in this wagon anywhere. There was a small rust out spot in the lower left rear quarter, behind the fender well, which we cut out and welded back up. The floors are solid as is the rest of the body. There is absolutely no bondo anywhere in the car. The body was almost perfect already. As I mentioned, the minimal rust was cut out and had new metal welded in. There are a very few tiny dings that will need to be dollied out. No major dents or dings ever. The front fenders, inner fender wells and radiator support have all been sand blasted and primed. The entire car has been covered in a gloss gray just to protect it from the very damp air found here on the Central Coast of Ca. It is not a finished paint job by any means. The former owner stripped the car down completely. Therefore it must be reassembled completely. He removed everything including the wiring harness and everything else that he could. I have a new, in the box, headliner and carpet kit. I have the original seats covered in a decent gray corduroy material along with the matching door panels. The wheels are 14x7 ralleys. The wheels are painted with stainless steel paint and look like they are chrome. They have decent tires on them. I have a disc brake set up for the front end that is not installed yet. I have a lot of NOS parts still in the box such as 283 emblems, cross flag emblems, steering wheel center cap, dome light housing and lens, vent window locks, stainless fender trim and the list goes on. All of the "Nomad" sliding glass windows are present along with the original window locks and hardware. There is a turbo 400 trans that goes along too. The front sheet metal is partially bolted down, just for the pics. The fender and door gaps line up very nicely when completely installed. All of the hard to find parts are here for this very hard to find car. I am able to deliver the car for $1.00 per mile round trip up to 200 miles or so after the car is paid for in full. I live in Southern California about 90 miles north of Santa Barbara and 10 miles south of Pismo Beach. I am not interested in trades as I need the money for another project that I am working on. This is an EXTREMELY RARE 1965 Chevelle 2 door wagon. It has been completely disassembled for restoration. It was rusty so a 4 door wagon body was used as a donor car. There is no rust out anywhere now. There were only 1668, total, of these wagons built in 1965 There were just over 1000 of the 13115 model built. The body is very decent. I have tons of parts that can go with the car FOR AN EXTRA COST. There are a bunch of pics of everything that I have. THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE CAR ONLY! I have a very hard to find 1965 Chevelle 300 2 door wagon. It is an unfinished project that was started, decades ago by the previous owner. His 2 door wagon was very rusty. He started to work on it but it was a futile attempt to overcome the rust. Jeff found a very clean 1965 Chevelle 4 door wagon and painstakingly began to transform it in to a 2 door. The body work that is done, is done well! There is a lot more to do. My buddy Richard has some room in his shop. If I don't sell this wagon immediately then I will take it to Richard and ask him to hang the other quarter panel. You can see in one of the pics that I leaned the quarter panel against the passenger side to show what it would look like. That is the one that needs to be welded in. The hard to find parts are all here! The quarter panels, doors, door panels, cargo area trim panels, sliding side glass with Nomad type window locks are all there! There is no motor included with this auction. Unfortunately Jeff put the original motor in a 1967 Chevy pick up years ago. It is long gone. There is a turbo 400 automatic trans included. There are a set of stock exhaust manifolds included. There is a literal treasure trove of spare parts included! Here is a partial list.
