Original Big Block, 4 spd, side pipe car Car was professionally restored by a shop with over 45 years of Corvette experience. 427/425hp big block, fully rebuilt engine with correct casting dates and casting numbers. Carburetor, starter, alternator, tach drive distributor all rebuilt. Complete new Vintage Air, Allen’s factory sounding side pipes with restored original side pipe covers. Original wiper motor rebuilt. Muncie 4spd trans rebuilt using a Hurst shifter with original style handle. 3.55 posi rear rebuilt with all rebuilt half shafts. Interior is restored using all Al Knoch parts, door panels, head liner, and carpet. Seats are original survivor leather seats. Power windows, AM/FM radio with power antenna, instrument cluster fully restored, original Walnut steering wheel. The wiring harness is completely new front to back, under dash and under hood. No rust frame is restored to original condition. All new bushings, ball joints, steering, and front and rear sway bars. Car is riding on BF Goodrich redline tires with original survivor hub caps. New gas tank and sending unit. The body of this car is gorgeous. The body had over 1500 hours of work done. You will not find a car with straighter and crisper body lines anywhere. The headlights work beautifully with rebuilt motors, all new weatherstrip, all original stainless trim that is polished better than new. All chrome was redone with triple plating by Frankford Plating. New tinted windows, and all new body emblems. I have never driven a classic car that didn’t rattle or clunk before this one. This car drives like a dream. It does not smoke, rattle, bang, clunk or overheat while driving in traffic, even with the air on. Very cool and very fast street/strip car. Back halved with a full cage, narrow Ford 9", new weld rims with brand new tires. Chevy 468 big block, World II Heads, Quick Fuel 850, Trans Specialties TH350 w/ reverse manual valve body good to 800hp, trans brake, line lock, 150hp Nitrous Shot with bottle heater. MSD Ignition, huge aluminum radiator with dual fan set up. Four link rear suspension with coil overs and wheelie Bar. Fresh paint over the winter. It's just sitting in my garage. I built it, had a little fun, and am now bored and ready to move on to another toy. I have had it to Atco a few times. It ran 10.70's on motor. I set up the nitrous but have not been back to the track since. I primarily use it as a cruise night/bar hopper. The car runs and drives great. You can go light to light in 90 degree weather and it stays cool all day. Car can sit for a month and will start every time. Also, no leaks, my garage floor is clean. Car will definitely run low 10's if set up right. It hooks up but not as good as it should. I am not a drag racing guy so the rear suspension set up is a guess. Come take a look. Make me an offer. Let me know if you have a cool trade and we'll talk. I'm not sure yet what I am looking for so it doesn't hurt to ask. If you have something nicer, I don't mind throwing in some cash.
