This is a 1971 Chevy Monte Carlo. I bought it about it about 5 years ago and restored it in 2012, It was taken off the frame and completely redone. It had 74000 on it the and only has 75677 now. All of the major body panel are original. The only rust hole on the car was on one of the fender behind a molding. We cut it out and patched it. The original motor was replaced with a CHevy ZZ4 crate motor. Has factory air that works. If your interested feel free to call or text me 618-201-4261. A few other things, all new seals, Headliner, wheels, tires, ceramic headers, 3 inch dual exaust SS. New bumpers. There are a few chips in the paint but all in all a very nice car.

I am selling my truck that I have owned since 2009. Prior to that, it was owned by a man in the Dubuque, Iowa area who took great care of it. He actually had new tires installed prior to trading it in. The truck has A/C, V6, CD player, remote starter, block heater, and is fully set-up to haul a dirt bike with tie down hooks and wheel chuck mounting. She gets surprisingly good mileage, 18-20. Over the last 2 years, I have personally replaced...... inner and outer tie rod ends, sway bar links, all 4 shocks, heater core, serpentine belt/idler pulley/tensioner, radiator, alternator, fuel pump, starter motor, rear brake lines and hose, plugs/wires/cap/rotor, both upstream oxygen sensors. I have receipts for most. To access the fuel pump, I did cut an access port in the bed and sealed it with tin. It came in handy a few months ago when the pump went. I changed it on the road in 20 minutes. The new pump is an American made Carter that was sitting on a shelf for 17 years that I managed to find an eBay. It is much better built than the ones made today. What else.... in 2012, I replaced the front wheel bearings, bearing races, calipers, pads, etc. and had the rear wheel cylinders replaced by Meineke. Two of the exhaust flange gaskets were replaced by a shop in Carbondale. The negatives are she needs new tires, has a little rust on underside of driver's door, some bubbling on driver's cab corner, and the seat is torn on driver's side. The A/C compressor leaks but I load a can of refrigerant each Spring and that keeps her running cold all summer. Many of repairs were not required but I love the truck and did all I could to take care of it. It was always stored in the garage. I don't want to sell it but I don't have the room to store it in the garage with my new car. No trades, just cash.
