This is a 1991 Chevrolet Silverado trim Suburban R2500 with the 7.4L Tonawanda V8 with a 4 speed automatic transmission with over drive, it has a 3.73 differential ratio. I've recently dumped over $3,000 of engine work in this tank, it has a brand new block bored .30 over in the cylinders, same with the crankshaft and the camshaft was resurfaced. New parts that I can think of off the top of my head though I'm sure there's lots more: New pistons, crank bearings, gaskets all around, push rods, connecting rods, harmonic balancer, piston rings, oil pressure switch, heater core, fuel injectors, fuel regulator, TBI gaskets, Cherry bomb 3" single chamber race muffler, goodyear gatorback serpentine belt, air filter, plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor, engine block valve covers and intake manifold and air filter housing freshly painted black. There's a lot more work done to it, it starts fantastically and runs great and has a ton of power. I've owned it now for about 5 months and found I'd prefer to have something a bit smaller. The engine has 30k miles of warranty with the shop that did it, I will include all the files it came with when I bought it of previous maintenance performed on it through the years which is amazingly meticulous. This california truck had been restored in the 80s and it had the same owner for 20 years before it sat in a museum in indiana were i purchased it from the owner. If your looking to buy a solid driver quality rustfree truck that runs and drives down the freeway then this is your truck. The cameo has the 283 v8 with the 3 on the tree with the overdrive which is a hoot to drive.{I do believe this is the original drivetrain} but as any 50 year old truck you cant be 100% certain.This cameo has all of its fancy badging and moldings and factory fiberglass bed in place so there is no part hunting. it has the cushion-ride poly tires with the factory trim rings and dog dish hubcaps that are in nice shape.The interior is in good condtion and doesnt really need much attention.
