NOTE: Two lingering issues that I was told by the GMC dealer near me that weren't worth attempting to fix are 1) It throws a service engine light with a code for the passenger A/C circuit, but the A/C works fine. Baffled my guy. Replaced all the vent/blend motors and it still throws the code, but A/C is ice cold and heat is scalding hot. 2) When it sits for a while (like a hunting truck does) the 2-3 shift (it's a 6 speed auto) will sometimes be slow until the trans warms up. I was told that it's a gummy valve and it happens when a trucks sits for weeks at a time. It's not slipping whatsoever, just will sometimes be slow to go into 3rd. Absolutely only does this if you are barely on the gas; anything considered accelerating and it will never do it regardless of trans temp/how long it's been sitting. You'd most likely never even notice it, but I'd hate for it to do it once and you come back saying I didn't tell you about it! A trans flush could fix it but I've never been a fan of messing with a trans unless it absolutely needed it.
