This is my 1955 Chevy Bel Air. A new build by me, not someone else's or a flip car. Wanted my '55 to be different, fast, modern but still stock. Almost everything is new - body, paint, motor, trans, rear, interior, drive shaft, wheels, tires, wiring, chrome, stainless, weatherstripping, etc. Paint is Hot Rod Black. M22 Rockcrusher Trans, 383 stroker small block, 9.3 Pontiac/Olds rear with Mosier axles 35 spline 456 gears and 4 wheel disc brakes, custom drive shaft. Most of the inteiror restored. New headliner, carpet, mats, seats, door panels, radio, clock. Dash painted, restored factory steering wheel. Dash lights, interior light, headlights, turn signals - all work. New wiring throughout. New Hurst custom made pie crust Radial tires with Billet Specialists Comp 5 wheels. Car is set up to handle some real horsepower. Cal tracs frame tied 4 wheel disc brakes. 9.3 Pontiac/Olds rear - everything is new!! This car drives like a dream. No rattles, shakes, etc. I have spent alot of money, my time other peoples time on this car. With current set up car runs 12.01 @115mph in the 1/4 mile.only one pass perfectly straight. Not fast enough for you? I have a 648 hp 355 in. small block to go with car. Carb to pan - brand new, ready to drop in anytime. Try to find another '55 Chevy that looks like this one and drives like a Caddy. To build this car you'll need a good, rust free '55, about $50,000 cash plus several good, professional people and a whole lot of time - or be able to do it yourself. thanks for looking
