Eye catching complete body on restored 1965 Chevelle Malibu SS Convertible finished in White . It was originally from New Jersey, with one owner. It was purchased NEW by my mother in Langhorne, PA . The restoration was on a totally rust free body and frame, needing no sheet metal replacements. Powered by a slightly modified 283, Chevrolet V8 that has a four barrel carburetor that is mounted on an intake manifold. There are tubular headers that flow through and out the rear exhaust system. The transmission is a period correct, four speed manual. This stunning convertible is equipped with power steering and power brakes . The instrument panel and the radio are original. The tires are Period correct white wall Radials . This car has been in several Miss America Pageants in Atlantic City, NJ. with a bronze plaque commemorating the 1981 parade. The odometer reads 67502 ORIGINAL miles. The restoration was beautifully and accurately done to keep it totally original looking. The finish was extremely well done. In addition, the chrome and stainless trim is original. Under the hood is clean. The top is new and all the rubber components have been replaced. The interior has been completely replaced. This car was born white with a red interior, a 283 Powerglide, and with a purchase goes all the original parts. I have worked the 283 with a mild Cam, hot ignition, 4 barrel carburator, 4 speed trans. I have the Original Owners Manual. Overall this 1965 Malibu SS is in fabulous condition.
