I am the third owner. This truck has lived its whole life in Marietta, MN. This truck is truly an amazing barn find. It is completely original and no-one has messed with or changed anything. It is about as complete as you could possibly ever hope for. Please look at every one of the pictures The body is totally original, virtually rust free and the greatest patina of the original factory paint I have ever seen. The cab corners, doorsills and running boards are near perfect with only patina and no rust. The rare long pickup box is near perfect. The tailgate was missing so I found another one that came off a truck a long time ago and stored in a shed. The wood floor has obviously rotted with age but all the metal is intact. The only flaw in the body is a small 1" hole in the floor to the left of the clutch pedal as you can see in the pictures. This truck still has the original 4 hub caps on the original wheels. The interior is as you see it in the pictures. Still all there but definitely showing its age. The windshield and back window are good but both rollup windows are cracked. I found an original GMC radio that would fit this truck. Needs total restoration but its a start. The engine is the original and I was told that it started to lose power and that's why the truck was parked over 30 years ago. I was lucky and found another engine out of a 51 Chev grain truck that only had 25,000 original miles on it. I am including that engine with the truck. No-one has touched or moved this truck in over 30 years. Everything needs to be gone over and I'm sure it will need grease and oil in a lot of spots. Transmission moves through all the gears. I have done nothing to it except move it so that there will be no surprises for the new owner other than those to be expected. There are a lot of junk trucks for sale out there, this is not one of them. With very little effort this truck can be restored to show condition or brought back to life with a magnificent original patina. I have a clear Minnesota title in my name including current license plates till September, 2016. I would be willing to deliver this truck anywhere in the lower 48 for $1 per loaded mile.
