Stunning 1958 Chevrolet Impala 2 door hardtop sports coupe. Rebuilt 283ci engine 4 barrel. carburetor, automatic transmission, power steering, new dual exhaust front to rear. Under 3000 miles on car since a full frame off restoration that cost over $75,000. The body was dipped and stripped to bare metal, zero rust with mile deep black onyx paint, fit and finish very very good throughout. All the exterior and interior stainless steel was removed from car and restored to show quality, as was the chrome. The tri color red interior is all new and correct, it includes all new carpets, headliner, Anodized aluminum door panels, seat belts, Restored steering wheel and dash, tinted glass, new trunk mat and Impala floor mats, push button radio, etc. New wide whitewall tires on restored rims with spinner hub caps. 1958 Chevrolet Delrey 2dr coupe - Project car. Up for sale is my 58 chevy Delrey. No time to finish as my 58 chev wagon project is taking priority. Car is located 40 minutes from Vancouver, BC Canada. I have a clean and clear title in hand. To import the vehicle into the U.S. from Canada is very easy. I have sold several vehicles before to American citizens. I would gladly walk you through the steps to do so. The car upper body overall is straight and solid. It will need your typical lower floor work though. It will need floor pans and inner rocker work. It will also need some rear metal work which includes a trunk pan and some quarter panel work. Good news is im including a chopped half of another 58 that has all the trunk and quarter metal work needed. The glass is all intact and in good shape except for the cracked windshield. There is no motor. I do have a 3 speed tranny not installed in the car; I dont know if this is the original tranny or not. As you can see from the pictures the interior will need to be redone. Trim and chrome is all in good driver quality. Some of the photos are of the car before I started the metal work. The whole car will obviously need to be fully gone through(brakes, wiring, suspension etc.). I started on the metal work, but then my 58 wagon took priority. Ive come to realize i wont have the time or money to get to this one for a while and could use the cash to fund my wagon.
