1957 Chevy Bel air convertible project.The car started life as a 2 dr ht and was converted into a convertible. I got this car from Alabama I did not build it! I got it just like it is from a guy that sold me other cars I'm just selling as-is to get some of the money back...anyways here is a chance to get a 57 convertible project at a great price! High bidder gets the car!The car starts and runs and stops in my yard... but its not road ready. The car needs a lot of work! The cowl tag reads like thisStyle 57-1037body V/N 813trim 654paint 802Aacc SGThe car has new floors welded in and lots of metal work and patches all over it. The frame does have X brace welded in. Some trim parts are there but I don't know if all the trim is there or not. It does have new gas tank and line. There is no glass just windshield, the doors do open and shut. The trunk lid is very rusty and does not latch. The hood is not bad but does not have a latch. The bumpers are there but old and have some rust. The engine is a small block I was told a 350 but not verified it does start and seams to run ok, but has no exhaust and it goes into gear and will drive on a trailer it does have working brakes and also has power steering! The bows are there and cylinders and power top motor also there but they will need a lot of work and maybe need replaced. The original VIN tag and cowl tag are there in good shape. 1968 Camaro SS Clone, I got the car on trade and don't need it I've got to many cars now so it's for sale..Make me a fair offer....Its got a nice strait clean body with good paint (not perfect but very presentable). The engine is basically a stock 350 with T350 automatic trans. 10 bolt open rear. Has power steering and manual drum brakes. The interior is OK but needs some things the front seats are ok but back seat is starting to separate a little. The headliner is good but loose it needs to be pulled tighter. The passenger door glass is a little tight going up but works if you wiggle it. The door panels are good and Dash pad is nice. Its missing the passenger side pillar cover. The headlights and side markers are working but speedo, wipers and gas gage are not working, there is a aftermarket oil and water temp that work. The car runs and drives but is stiff because it's lowered and wheels are 18" and they do scrape sometimes on a tight turn. The floors and trunk are solid but trunk has some scaling from the truck mat. The bumpers and nice and overall its a good looking strait camaro. I'm open to an offer and will negotiate the price within reason. The car is sold as-is with no warranty, buyer pays all shipping charges. 1967 Chevy II has a 350 small block with T350 automatic, stock 10 bolt rear end. The car has a 66 front end with amateur bodywork and paint job. The car has some cool stuff in front end its got rac and pinion steering with tubular control arms, coilover shocks, fender well headers and new gas tank. It has Wilwood front disc brakes with rear drum. The hood is steel cowl it has new front fenders and body it's not showing any outer body rust but it has filler in places mostly in quarter panels where the new quarters where put on in the middle of the panel. The trunk is solid with some rust in floors that where patched from the top and old rust was not cut out. The interior is in fair shape with new headliner and aftermarket front seats. The doors open fine but drivers door handle is not working from the inside just outside. The wheels are 17" slots with good tires. The car will need to be rewired as the old wiring is bad and most things don't work alternator is not hooked up but its got a good battery and does start fine. The car runs and drives and stops but I would consider the car a project its really not safe for the road as it is. It will need some work to be road ready but it's a good start for the right person.
