This is a 1979 Factory 2wd K5 Blazer Has Clean Oregon Title with current registration tags.Has removable roof section. Straight 6cyl with 3speed automatic transmission. Has a 1980 front headlight bezels and lower lights. The condition is very ruff. Has rust on the lower portions of some fenders. The floors are rusted pretty good. Its all replaceable with some effort.The seats are oddly in very good condition. All of the interior parts are in the truck. I Had to remove all of the interior and dash in order to clean it out from the dirt that had accumulated in it from having the top off but, all the pieces are there as well as all the hardware stored securely into containers. It does run and can drive onto a trailer. I would NOT suggest trying to drive this without working on it first. I want to let known that this truck is in ruff shape even though it may run and is clean title, its defiantly a project. Runs and drives under its own power. Selling because I basically saved it from a farm were it was rotting away. I got tired of seeing it going to waste so i bought it from the guy, cleaned it up, and now Im listing it so somebody can build a hot rod , show truck or just fix it up and use as a daily. 2wd K5 arent rare but they are uncommon with only like 15% of all k5 being 2wd from the factory, they are becoming more desired among the truck clubs and c10 community as well. 1976 chevy c10, , short bed. 2wd, Title and vin show it as being a gmc, so some past owner has changed all the emblems. This is a factory big block 454 truck as shown on the glove box sticker and verified by the vin number. It is not the original engine but it is a period correct 454. It is from anouther mid 70s pick up. Some areas are stamped as a 76 and some as 78. I do not know if the turbo 400 is original to the truck or not. 12 bolt rear end. I do not know the gear ratio and I do not believe it is a posi. Other than the new hedman headers and glass pack exhaust the engine is stock. (sounds awesome) It is a factory 4 barrell and hei ignition engine. The engine bay is very clean. The body has no major dents or rust. The only sign of rust i see is under the battery tray. It looks like it was cut out when the new fenders were installed. Several small dings in various places and a very poor single stage paint job. It has some runs and orange peel that may be color sanded and polished out. However I feel the truck deserves to be stripped, blocked and base cleared to take it to the next level. Most of the original trim came with the truck but it is in poor condition. I was planning on filling the holes and smoothing the truck when the rest of the body work was done. It does not have a wood floor in the bed. What you see is just some cedar boards laid in the back. The metal floor is a bit beat up. The tail gate works but it could use a new one. The snap on road box mounted in the back is also date coded 1976. It has all the drawers but no lock. The truck has that semi ratted shop truck look but it is solid and deserves to be restored. The dash pad has some cracks but the rest of the interior is spotless. The carpet needs some installation finish work around the pedals. Has an old school tape deck with speakers behind the seat that will need some updating. It is a factory a/c truck. I have the compressor and some hoses but none of it is installed. Factory cruise set up is there but not hooked up. Has factory 15 x 8 rally wheels painted to match. Tires have about 3000 miles on them. Power brakes with disc in front drum in back and Power steering. I have an aluminum canopy that I will set on it with all the trim and a/c parts in the back. The glove box sticker states it as being HD suspension. It has not been lowered or modified in any way. It is getting hard to find mid 70s short bed factory big block trucks. They seam to be fully restored and priced out of site high or beat to hell. This one is solid but not finished. Perfect for that hobbiest that wants to put his/her personal touches on the final product. Best of all its priced right. It has been a project and i have only driven it around the block. Everything seams to work but I am sure there are going to be some details that will need to be addressed as it is driven more often. I feel I have given full disclosure on its condition and it is being sold as is. East coasters, I know you like our rust free west coast trucks but please, before bidding make sure you get your shipping quotes in order. I have had people back out of deals because of long distance shipping costs. Yes shipping is the buyers responsibility. I can store the truck for a short period but I live in the burbs and I need the room so please dont leave it for weeks. Now for the statements I hate to make. Only bid if you are serious. The story I got was the truck was ordered new by a logging company in grants pass Oregon and used as a bus for loggers from the camp to where they were logging at and it really only got used for short distances in the woods! The logging company replaced it in 1964 with a new suburban and sold this one to the guy I bought it from ( he also bought that one lol)! he drove it for a short time then parked it in the barn to be restored at another time! I got it when he decided it was not going to happen for him and I purchased it to use as a parts runner and billboard for my business and when I got it safe to drive I closed That business and no longer need it! my loss your gain! It has been completely re wired and the fuel system cleaned the Huck style brakes were gone threw and all wheel cylinders replaced! the engine was then gone through and all gaskets were changed except rear main seal and it seeps slightly but not bad! The head was cleaned up with new valve seals and the cylinder walls were perfect so the bottom end was cleaned lubed and re sealed and the thing runs great! The starter and water pump was rebuilt and all belts and hoses were changed! The radiator was pulled flushed and pressure checked and put back in! The upholstery was done with a good quality marine vinyl (Cappuccino and mocha color) by me and is not perfect but looks very good! This (suburban, panel truck, carryall, or van) is ready to be yours It still needs your touch to make it your own and the front springs need replacing or remove the broken ones and lighten up the spring rate! you will not find a more original patina yet mostly restored panel in my opinion for this price please look close and ask any questions before you bid! this truck runs and drives good enough to load on a trailer or transporter but does not have plates or tags on it and must be trailered from here or registered in your name at the time of sale! I described it to my best ability but probably forgot some stuff so please feel free to ask or tell me any thing relevant to this vehicle! 1976 GMC 15 previous owner switched all the trim to Chevy. This is a factory 454 short wide bed 2 wheel drive. Glove box option list shows 454 and vin number verifies that to be correct. It currently has a good running 350 but i am including a ready to run complete date code correct 454. Other factory options are turbo 400 transmission, a/c (all there but not working), 12 bolt rear end, HD trailer suspension and wiring, tilt wheel, sliding rear window, It has later model alloy wheels with new tires. I am also including a set of 15x8 rallys with centers but no trim rings, Tires on the rallys are mounted but weathered. Interior is worn but i have new carpet, and cloth seat reupulstery kit from LMC still in the boxes. Door panels are great shape, dash has some cracks. Windshield is new. Has old school sound system with box and speakers behind the seat and cassette player. Body does not have any major dents. Lots of little dings from 39 years of use. Its factory color is frost white but the paint is in poor condition.Floors, rockers, window frames, wheel wells are rust free and solid. Lower front fenders, passenger lower cab corner and under the battery box have some corrosion and will need work. The suspension has not been lifted, lowered or altered in any way. All extras will be in the bed covered with a aluminum canopy. So, you get a rare option truck, 2 good running engines, new interior kit, 2 sets of wheels and tires, and canopy, at a awesome price. I am only posting this truck because anouther vehicle i want has come up for sale. If it does not sale at the end of this 7 day listing i will continue to turn it into my personal shop truck. These factory 454 short beds do not come up for sale often at a reasonable price. 5900.00 is what i need and thats a great price for a rare option truck. I have include a photo of the glove box option list. I drive this truck on a regular basis. It starts stops steers as it should. has a slight pull to the right. I been meaning to get an alignment done just havent got around to it. I did just get the title transfered to my name. Oregon takes 3-4 weeks to get the new title to me. I have a temporary registration and bill of sale until then. It is a clean title. I believe I have covered everything. Its a good one to either restore or just drive it and use it like a truck.
