Up for sale is a 2002 Chevy Express Conversion Van. Features:Low mileage - 83k actual milesHightop model is very roomy and airyTV and VCR for watching movies - dozens of childrens VHS tapes can go with the sale. It has 2 storage cabinets for easy upgrade to DVD or to install a video game system. We had a Wii installed at one time.Power seats, power windowsAC WorksLots of mechanical upgrades. We installed a new set of spider injectors. The original model was design flaws, so this updated design solves problems of leaky injectors. New plugs, plug wires, and intake gasket were installed at the same time. New catalytic converter. The good:This van drives very well. We used it as a cruising van to drive from Virginia to Orlando. Not once did it break down during our 700+ mile trips. It doesn't overheat, doesn't burn oil, and doesn't smoke. We used to drive a Toyota Sienna but the trips were miserable - cramped legs and sore behinds. The sitting position in this van is very comfortable which lets you stretch your legs. The passengers in the middle seats can recline fully and sleep. On the rear seat we had 3 car seats side by side. The rear seat also converts into a bed (power recline). We enjoyed using it but now we live in Orlando so we don't have a need for it. The bad:The van starts up great and idles well. But after it warms up it starts idling low, around 600-700rpm. So when it idles that low the oil pressure drops to about 10-20 lbs. As soon as you idle back up to 1000+ its fine. And its fine when started cold. Most likely its not reading the air flow correctly - either a MAP/MAF or IACV. These things typically wear out at this age. You are welcome to have it checked out at a shop. Also, the paint on the side skirts are starting to peel. Not on the van, only the fiberglass side skirts. One bracket on the drivers side step board is broken. These are common issues on conversion vans of this age.
