Here's the nicest 1946 Chevrolet you are going to see, beautifully restored with rebuilt 235 cubic inch engine, and tastefully upgraded with Fenton dual carb intake, dual exhausts, and fully functional 12 volt electrical system. . This car has been beautifully restored, with lovely high quality paint, excellent straight bodywork underneath, and all new chrome and polished stainless. . Here is the registration card from 1963 in California, showing LBU 109 in bold type - you'll note that the LBU 109 License plate is still on the car! The lower document is a partial piece that looks like it was the same owner back to 1958 in Lathrop, CA. So, really good California history on this car! You'll also note that the VIN number, N332011CAL, is stamped on the right side of the frame in the engine bay. N332011CAL is not a usual Chevy serial number, but it's obviously been there a very long time. . . The 2 door sedan bodystyle is very rare and unusual. Note the custom exhaust tips just below the bumper . I love the "Chase Chevrolet, Stockton" license frame, and the black license plate. . It looks like new all over the place! . Spectacular paint and bodywork, and look how nice the whitewalls accent the hubcap and trim ring! . Wow! Here's the 235 Cubic inch engine, with pressurized oiling system. The fenton dual carburetor manifold is a great accessory! The engine was just completely rebuilt. And, it runs great and drives great! I've driven this car on the freeway, and it will keep up with traffic, has plenty of power, and feels good to drive. The steering is nice and tight, the transmission works properly and quietly, and overall it's a pleasure to operate this car ! . Note the chrome 12 volt alternator, and new wiring. This car is impressive because the 12 volt conversion was properly done, with all lights and gauges working as they should, except for the gas gauge. the Gas Guage doesn't work. . .Freshly done . Also note the vacuum operated windshield washer fluid bottle. . Beautifully redone interior, with correct appearing striped fabric. . Wow! . Beautiful woodgraining on the dashboard, and excellent original gauges. The chrome gauge bezel looks like the original one, and shows some age and pitting. . Look how pretty this dashboard is! I have had it for 20 years. This is a Florida vehicle and meets ALL California smog checks. In the past year I have invested over 12,000 in mechanical and not including paint which was 7,000. I was restoring this for my nephew but in the end he wanted 4W/drive. I was in N.Y for one year before I drove out here and had to register it so that's why in the pictures you see N.Y. plates. The vehicle has 240,000 Miles on it but everything that could be rebuilt was or replaced with new. Complete motor rebuild, Brakes, Shocks, AC all with 9000 Mi and all stock. Transmission 2000 Mi. Rear end 2000 Mi. Front end 2000 Mi. 18 in wheels and tires were over 2,000 dollars alone. Took all interior out and put sound matting throughout the whole vehicle. Besides the wear on driver seat and very little on passenger the back seat and removable 3rd seat are flawless. New carpet and headliner. I updated the grill to an 04 and put high output 2013 head lamps in. Put all new weather stripping in all doors and it is so quit on the road. Kenwood stereo W/Bluetooth, Pandora, Usb and lots more. Tinted driver and passenger windows and mirrored from passenger back. The paint is 6 years old base coat clear coat and wet sanded. the roof and hood are blk and smocked down to charcoal grey. A few small nicks but still beautiful. I have receipts for all mechanical but so much small stuff I replaced that cost a couple grand. New cat muffler, headers, motor mounts, starter, alternator, gear box, u joints and plenty more everything that I could replace when it was apart I did. This vehicle runs and drives perfect and is solid.
