The car is truly frozen in the 90's, the American Racing fake Centerlines, wide rears, yellow traction bars, chrome in the engine bay, the car is as driven and shown then. This was the owners pride and joy. The time parked has mainly only effected the interior a bit, it shows some wear and fading but is in good driver condition as is. There are a few detail here and there that need to be done and I will list them as negatives later. The rare Cream Yellow and Black stripes, cowl hood,(all air cleaner parts includes but don't fit with Edelbrock manifold) look very good still! The few very small rust bubbles are at the normal spots at wheel open and fender bottom, these are low and can be easily touched up without a repaint. Just went thru all of the car to make sure all fluids are new, hoses are good and the brakes are working well. The car really drives excellent. The Engine is the biggest surprise, it is very doscile until you put your foot in it and then is is quite powerful! Clutch and trans work smoothly and well, posi works too, I have tested it to make sure! New top in 95 is a little worn but not bad, and the power top works great, the boot is not bad also. Positives: A real SS 402 4 speed convertible!, decent paint, looks great, runs and drives well and is fast too. No floor rust, only minor panel as mentioned, A rare color combo. Easy to make a very nice car with a few upgrades as you go. All items need to make perfect are buy and install. I don't think a better car is out there in almost barn find like situation. original trans and rearend. Engine is excellent and potent too. Comes with original SS wheels, cowl induction air set up. Have some receipts for parts, have owners manual Negatives: Non original engine, interior not a 10 but a 7 and good, the minor rust spots need to be touched up and there is a small trunk ding on driver side. No build sheet present or proteco plate. Could use to have the old school 90's stuff replaced! Has the standard 454 badges on the fenders which shouldn't have been put there, but everyone did it in the 90's. I am a private party, selling for my friend (the widow) and very experienced with cars, I have a 70 Chevelle myself. I have done a thorough job of vetting the car for originality and non original details and am disclosing all I know and we can document. I have done a detail so it is clean and ready to go. The car will be sold for cash as is since the owner can't invest money to make this perfect only to sell it. NO TRADES! SORRY.
