I have owned this truck for 15 years. starts good and runs good. I put a new set of tires on it last year. still very good tires and I paid 1000.00 for them. It got all new air conditioning parts last year. everything with the ac is good and it blows cold air. no radio. some dents. I have done the maintenance on my truck including oil and filter changes on time. I have hauled over a ton of rock on it and lots of wood and other items with no problem. These trucks had a flaw from the factory with the engine fuel injector controller. from the factory the electronic control was mounted under the intake manifold on the 6.5 diesel engine. on hot summer days the heat would cause the electronic fuel pump controller to go bad. the aftermarket cure for this problem was to mount the controller on the inside fender liner/under the hood where it would not get so hot, and I completed this fix 12 years back and have had no problems with it since. dump bed is electric over hydraulic and it is only 4 years old. works great and has the control inside the cab. this truck has a engine block heater with plug located in the grill for winter pre heat. service engine light has been on ever since I bought this truck and I took it in and they kept telling me it was nothing to worry about because the code was bad fuel cap. this truck is a great work truck. If you want a fancy nice new truck ,,, this is not it. If you want a reliable truck to haul rock wood metal dirt mulch and not have to shovel it out of the bed, then this is the truck to save time and your back.
