Over the course of 25 years the Nova's under carriage was completely blasted and sprayed with Pour-15, all frame and suspension bushings have been replaced with poly bushings from PST. rear suspension is a custom spring rate rear leaf springs with custom fabricated traction bars, solid spring eye bushings. Housing was degreed in, all strange 33 spline axles with c-clips and exct. brakes are manual disc front, drum rear. Manual steering, all stock gm interior seats recovered in stock fabric 5 yrs ago. gauges are all auto meter liquid filled. nothing over done. nothing cut up or removed. all stock wheel well's, in stock locations no tubing or notching. car has a 10 point cage welded to frame not floors. Frame was tied with weld in sub frame connectors. fuel system is all braided with A&N fitting's Mallory 250 GPM pump. Msd electronics, Color of car is Lexus Midnight Grape Pearl, car has a 4in VFN cowl hood mounted on stock hood hinges. car has never been wrecked or in any type of fender bender, fires, floods, and so on. This car was built by Doug Rippie for my father who used to be a SCCA competitor (Four Time National Champion). It has never seen the track and has been driven for a couple weeks a year. The work done to this Corvette is the Doug Rippie Motorsports 450 package which is very similar to the DRM 500 package that was done to our Z06 we listed recently. The following is an excerpt from an article written about the DRM 500 package that was done by Doug Rippie. The only difference between whats written below and this car is 450hp versus 500 and it doesn't have the brake kit. Rippie says his engine pumps out 500 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. "Basically, there are no stock parts left in the block. We start by installing a longer-stroke crank for an added 36 cubic inches of displacement, 382 total. Then we go with lighter and stronger connecting rods, pistons, valve springs, and bearings. This car also has Z06 heads, which we ported. Then we balance the rotating parts, reprogram the computer, and install a lighter aluminum flywheel. And finally, we install a high-capacity radiator with an integral oil cooler and a tranny and differential cooler. Vettes get hot once you start upping the power, and the coolers make the thing bulletproof." For suspension, he removes the stock leaf springs and installs coil springs, a move he says makes for easier chassis tuning. He also replaces the stock Goodyear run-flat tires with BFG g-Force tires mounted on HRE aluminum wheels. Next, he swaps the Corvette brakes for six-piston front and four-piston rear AP calipers, a setup that Rippie says "will not fade. It all goes to my vision of an all-day track car. With the coolers and these big brakes, you can pound on the car all day and don't have to worry about making it home at night." Thankfully, the big brakes did not turn the brake pedal into a hair trigger and the new springs are not so punishing that we would hesitate to drive the C500/RSR on the street. The braking distance was three feet better than in the last Z06 we tested, stopping from 70 mph in only 157 feet. There's a small bump in skidpad grip over that of the Z06, 0.97 g versus 0.96 g. The DRM car feels stable and not spooky and is less bothered by midcorner bumps than is the stocker. At the skidpad, Rippie noted, "Understeers, doesn't it? We can dial in any sort of handling balance we want, but we find that a touch of understeer is safer without being significantly slower."

The car was built by Doug Rippy for my father who used to be a SCCA competitor (Four Time National Champion). It has seen only a handful of track days and has been driven for a couple of weeks a year. The following is an excerpt from an article written about the work that has been done to this Z06 by Doug Rippie. Rippie says his engine pumps out 500 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. "Basically, there are no stock parts left in the block. We start by installing a longer-stroke crank for an added 36 cubic inches of displacement, 382 total. Then we go with lighter and stronger connecting rods, pistons, valve springs, and bearings. This car also has Z06 heads, which we ported. Then we balance the rotating parts, reprogram the computer, and install a lighter aluminum flywheel. And finally, we install a high-capacity radiator with an integral oil cooler and a tranny and differential cooler. Vettes get hot once you start upping the power, and the coolers make the thing bulletproof." For suspension, he removes the stock leaf springs and installs coil springs, a move he says makes for easier chassis tuning. He also replaces the stock Goodyear run-flat tires with BFG g-Force tires mounted on HRE aluminum wheels. Next, he swaps the Corvette brakes for six-piston front and four-piston rear AP calipers, a setup that Rippie says "will not fade. It all goes to my vision of an all-day track car. With the coolers and these big brakes, you can pound on the car all day and don't have to worry about making it home at night." Thankfully, the big brakes did not turn the brake pedal into a hair trigger and the new springs are not so punishing that we would hesitate to drive the C500/RSR on the street. The braking distance was three feet better than in the last Z06 we tested, stopping from 70 mph in only 157 feet. There's a small bump in skidpad grip over that of the Z06, 0.97 g versus 0.96 g. The DRM car feels stable and not spooky and is less bothered by midcorner bumps than is the stocker. At the skidpad, Rippie noted, "Understeers, doesn't it? We can dial in any sort of handling balance we want, but we find that a touch of understeer is safer without being significantly slower." This car is a true pleasure to drive. It's responsiveness, handling and power are all perfectly balanced and you will not find this level of performance for this price anywhere. The owner knows cars and knows how to take care of them. This car has been serviced regularly, handled with care and stored in an underground temperature controlled garage all year.

1974 Chevy Caprice Classic 2-door Convertible. Its a 350 bore out, 4 barrel edelbrock intake, 650 edelbrock carb, the whole MSD ignition package ( spark plugs, coil, rev lim.), jegs fuel pump, heddman headers, dual flow masters, 7" tv/dvd/cd JVC head unit, 5 1/4 speakers and tweeters in the front, 6 1/2" speakers in the back, 10" tvs in the headrests, an amp for the tvs and headunit, I have visors with tvs in them as well but have not installed them, alarm system, blackjack theft alarm where the car automatically shuts off if the car gets taken out of park and/or a door opens up and you do not press the code in time. Engines runs really good, starts up after sitting all winter, theres about a half of a nickel size chip in the paint on the side of the hood, and it seems like the motor on the convertible is starting to drain out cause there is a little pause when the droptop is going up for a brief second. Other then that the top goes up and down.
