You are looking at an awesome short bed truck that was just built. Many hours and lots of time was just put into this truck. This is a 1969 GMC that has a 1967 Chevy front clip on it. Drivetrain - The engine is a small block 327 that has had a recent rebuild with less than 500 miles. It has a high lift cam 101/2 to 1 pistons and the heads were redone with the good stuff. Not sure on total horse power but definitely more than enough for this truck. This is a hot rod. The transmission is a turbo (automatic) that has been recently rebuilt but while building the truck the front seal began to leak a bit. So the transmission could use a front seal. The master cylinder and brake booster are brand new. The rag joint in steering column is new along with return line on power steering. The truck recently had a new radiator and transmission cooler installed. The transmission also has a stall convertor. This truck runs great!!! When driving it you will feel like you are in a true hot rod. The only other thing it could use is a electric vacuum pump to help run power brakes. The cam has such a high lift there is not really enough vacuum to run both. You certainly could drive as is if you wanted to. Interior - Many hours spent inside this cab. To start with the console alone has around 80 hours spent on fabricating and building it. Truly is a custom piece. Also you can see passenger and center section of dash was smoothed along with dash pad section. Making for an awesome looking dash and console. The leather bucket seats were taken out of a later model Saturn and redone. We removed headrests and built custom pedestals. The pedestals are left bare metal and clear coated. The dash has custom hand painted pin stripping as well as door panels. The door panels were left part bare metal and clear coated for a cool look. The carpet, door seals, glass seals and windshield are all new. Also just put in new head light switch. The truck has a new aftermarket wiring harness. When the can was painted everything was removed. Entire inside of cab has new paint making for a very nice clean truck. Exterior - The truck was taken apart and painted piece by piece making for nice clean paint work. The paint and body repair are by no means perfect but this is a very nice clean truck that is very presentable. This truck will get attention any where you take it. All the side trim and emblems were removed and holes welded up. Two new rocker panels one new cab corner (passenger) and driver and passenger floor pans. The front cab mounts are new as well. The inside of the bed was grinded to bare metal with 3 heavy coats of clear. Red oak wood floor installed over factory metal floor for a great look. There is one new inner fender and a new core support. The passenger side firewall was welded up and smoothed so it is ready for vintage A/C and heat. The truck does need a horn. The wire is run just needs one put on. The wheels are 20" in great shape and tires on the rear are a bit bigger to give that raked hot rod look. Also the door handles and bumpers were grinded to bare metal and clear coated. This is a great truck and you are going to get an awesome deal.
