This car has a clean carfax with zero accidents reported. It runs and drives excellent and is allot of fun to drive! Have had a recent service completed with 4 new shocks, coolant flush, new serpentine belt, oil change, new radiator and thermostat, new high pressure power steering line, brake fluid flush and a brand new 2 stage paint job. Please take a look at the video above as it should answer most of your questions, and If you have further questions, please give me a call at 949-285 – 8 0 1 1 Exterior wise, the body and paint look great! When the car came to me, it had original paint, but it was faded from the elements and 14 years on the road. It now has a brand new 2 stage paint job, which I would call good driver quality. There are no scratches or paint niks to mention. Overall I am satisfied with it for a $2500 job although a color sand and buff would make it look even better. All four original wheels have been blacked out and they do have some curb rash. Front tires are brand new Bridgestone and rears are Hankook Ventus. Has HID headlights upgrade as well. The interior is in good shape. Seats both look good and have no rips or tears and comfortable to sit in. Driver seat power functions all work well. Carpeting is in excellent shape with no holes or tears. Has a set of nice factory floor mats. Both door panels are in good shape. Dash is in good shape with no cracks. Has a Derlin shift knob especially made for C5 Corvette which directly threads onto shift shaft. Heads up display works but display projects a bit low to the dash, believe needs to be adjusted. Radio sounds good and climate control LCD burns bright and AC/Heater work well. The car has no funky smells inside. Both sun visors are in good shape with vanity lights working. Headliner is starting to fall a bit on outside edges by doors. Has original owners manual and comes with one key and fob. Mechanically the car runs and drives very well. Engine runs nice and smooth and is very powerful. Has a Borla exhaust which sound very nice as you can hear in my video. Transmission shifts good with no grinding but throw out bearing is starting to whine a bit. Drives smooth and has 4 brand new Monroe shocks. Front tires are brand new BF Goodrich 100% tread and rears are Hankook with about 35% to 40%. The car appears a bit lower than a stock Z06 due to tire size being a bit shorter than stock. Radiator was replaced and has new coolant and thermostat. One high pressure power steering hose was replaced and fluid flushed. Has a new Serpentine belt replaced as well as fresh oil change. This is a very nice driving car! The car was paid off in 1958 as was evidenced in a GMAC letter dated May 12, 1958. (Copy of loan payoff letter is included.) The first owner (James Beckner) kept this car for just under 30 years as was reflected in the Texas “Certificate of Title” showing the transfer of the car from James Beckner to Kenneth Donald of Arlington, Texas on May 11, 1985. (Original Texas title document is included.) On June 23, 1987 Frank Ince of Des Moines, Iowa was issued a Iowa “Certifiacte of Title” showing the previous owner to be George Woolfus of Atlanta, Georgia. The title also shows that the next owner of the car to be Randy Swanson of Port Byron, Illinois purchasing the car from Platinum Motors on January 26, 2005 reflecting only 37,579 actual miles. Mechanically, the car runs and drives excellent. Has a great running LS3 engine that puts out 400 horsepower with Flowmaster exhaust. Has modified intake which has been custom painted to match the exterior of the car. The transmission is a 6 speed automatic with tipronic shifters on the steering wheel. Transmission shifts nice and smooth with no hard shifts or slipping. Brakes are in good shape with 50% pad remaining all around and Brembo brake calipers. Tires are goodyear Eagle F1, fronts have about 20% remaining and rears about 15%. Wheels do have a bit of corrosion in the bottom of the spoke area (see video above). Frame is clean. Please note, the DMV made a mistake on the mileage printed on the title and it was written down as 190,000 miles instead of 90k miles. Both autocheck and Carfax corroborate this (no way someone drove the car 100k miles in 11 months, plus the odometer reads 90k) not to mention the oil change sticker on the windshield showing next oil change at 95,000 miles!
