Had it since 37k mi. It was a 2x4. Amazing running 8.1L V8 and an Allison 5 speed transmission. When it was a 2x4, I added Edelbrock stainless/coated headers, a CompCams 270 roller/beehives, Black-bear tune. I had converted to 4x4 (obviously). It is a completely rebuilt Chevy Dana 60 (biggest knuckle ends on tubes), new 4.56 gears, new Detroit Locker. Allison trans shifts awesome. The 3.1:1 first gear/4.56 gears/35" tires/270 roller cam are a perfect match. Black-bear tune is awesome. It has new ram assist. The ram, PSC box is new. Custom steering pump, all hoses, and the complete hydro-boost unit rebuilt. The divorced NP205 is rebuilt. All new drive-shafts. Traction bars. The tires are newer Generals.I have a new J-Fab dual shifter. I took it out because I could not fit it in with the front, middle seat and keep the factory cup-holders ( I did not like the aftermarket box/console I had replaced it with). I just have not got around to making it work w/out losing the factory cup-holders/front middle seat. I have actually never had it off road, this has been a slow project. I have had in in 4x4 one time to go down my street. The kit is from Fab-worx off road in Santa Rosa. This kit is as low as an SAS kit can get on an HD conversion w/leafs. It looks tight, but you can jack either front wheel way up into the wheel-well w/o any touching. The suspension/steering/brakes works great. I really don't want to sell it, but I have some back issues and need something lower to the ground. A day of getting in/out of it messes with me.It is an awesome truck. It runs very good, better than any old built/cammed/ported 454 trucks from the past. It towed my travel trailer so easy (when 2x4 w/4.10's & smaller tires, but gear/tire combo is lower now)., A/C ice cold. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
