1966 Chevrolet Corvette fitted with a 427/425hp V8, 4 Speed transmission. Matching numbers, body off restoration previous to my ownership, with added spoiler, side pipes, and rear wheel flares. The vehicle is Nasau blue (original) with original blue interior in nice condition. Comes with a convertible, black top in fair condition with a few areas of wear, new window needed. Paint is good with a few blemishes, chips and nicks from road use. Body is straight/solid, interior has a few blemishes but is clean and well cared for. It is mechanically sound and in good overall condition. Some weather striping needs replacement at seals on door jams, but overall good interior condition. Additional set of headers, Original owners manual, additional Edelbrock intake, Holley carb. Owner since late 80's. Up for auction is a Canada built and documented true 1969 Chevelle SS 396 see picture of the document. I was told when I bought the car it had a rebuilt 396 engine. I put less than 500 miles on it since I've owned it. It has a 400 automatic transmission and 12 bolt posi differential, I believe with 411 gears (very steep) not good high way gears. It is a very solid car with the under side cleaned and painted black (looks great) as does whole car. It runs and sounds good. But the car is not perfect after all it is 47 years old. (This is not a numbers matching car) The motor and transmission is long gone. Canada built GM cars have a better record documentation of their Chevelle's and prove if they are or not legit SS Chevelles . Again this is a very solid and beautiful looking Chevelle SS. It is a real head turner. It is painted bright red now but it is not the original red color. The original color was garnet red. Let the pictures of the car tell the story. There is no warranty or guarantee, selling as is where is. Sorry I will cancel all bidders with less than 10 positive feed back unless you contact me before you bid.
