Normal 0 The mileage (approximately 48,000) on this car is believed to be accurate. I bought it in May of 2008. Since then, it has been driven summers only, for about 5000 miles. I removed the stock exhaust system, and replaced it from manifolds back with true dual exhausts. The exhaust system is an aftermarket one, consisting of baffled pipe. It makes a nice mellow sound, without being harsh or loud. The black paint looks very good, but I believe the original color was dark blue. It was black when I bought it, and still looks great. The original L82 engine, 3.73:1 positraction rear axle, and 4-speed transmission work exactly as expected. I bought a new AC compressor for the car, installed it, and never got the system charged. I also bought a new receiver/dryer to be installed prior to evacuating and filling the system. Front tires are excellent, and rear tires were just replaced this summer. Brakes were also recently done, so it runs and stops just as it should. If you do not have at least one favorable feedback report, please do not bid without first contacting me. Otherwise, I will delete your bid. Sorry, but I have been burned before. I will require a $500.00 deposit thru PayPal, within 48 hours of auction close, and the remainder in cash or certified funds when car is picked-up and clear title given to buyer. The engine, transmission, rear end, shock absorbers, and front end were all gone through at that time, as well as the paint, tires, chrome, interior and brakes. It has the original 6 cylinder 3 speed setup, and is all original, just as it came from the factory. A great amount of money was spent on this car purchasing new old stock parts and replacing detail items by its former owner, who had built several national show winning vehicles. The paint could stand to be rubbed out and waxed to get to a higher degree of shine, the gas gauge does not work, and the drivers door panel has some water discoloration.
