Runs Great, 1966 Chevy Caprice. What a find!! Collectors, this is the first year Chevy made the Caprice. This car has the original drive train, except for the heads and carburetor. The heads came off of a 1962 impala, this car has only had 1 repaint approximately 25 yrs ago. Still the Original color. This car runs and drives good, but The carburetor needs some work. The first # of the odometer is scratched up making it unreadable. I rebuilt the motor with a new engine kit , the motor has less than 100 miles on it.. New carpet.Floor pans are near perfect, trunk pan has a couple of small pencil sized holes. and, where the back window is starting to rust, the glass is beginning to leak. Overall this a very Straight and Good solid car. All original panels!!

This is my pride and joy i put a lot of work into it i don't know where to start. I bought this car all red and got it painted with skittles paint. The interior is also custom done but needs the seat belts finished. The paint job is custom its been sitting for a while its time for a touch up on the paint its a little chip by the front grill and on the roof. Its sitting on 24in dub floaters they glide when car is moving I bought brand new still new tires drove maybe 5 times with rims on it. Has a 350 engine and a 350 turbo trans its time for a tune up and new exhaust. Engine runs solid starts right up everytime. Im missing two small body fillers and the crome trimming around one headlight. Im selling because i dont drive it anymore its sitting going to waste i have a family and nomore time for it I driven it maybe 6 times in the last 5 years. Body solid frame has a little rust its fixable. Im Asking $8000 obo i have that in just the purchase of the car and the purchase of the rims. I've owned her for over 8 years. Sorry to say but its time to move on. too many interest and not enough time for everything. every part on this vehicle has either been restored replaced up graded polished or shined. She has a 383 stroker motor with less then 1500 miles on her since I installed the new motor. she has a 700R4 4 speed auto transmission from American Powertrain. rebuilt 373 eaton posi rear. Dennys drive shaft. all suspension parts have been upgraded to urethane bushings. rear suspension has sway bar. headers true dual exhaust 2.5" Way too much to list. I have over 18K in receipts on parts and paint alone. building her was a labor of love. Everyone always has a story about yesteryear in a caprice/ impala that they love to tell you at the car shows. This is not a fire sale. I am strictly looking for the right person to take her into her next chapter. What she needs, Nothing. Except she leaks a little tranny fluid from the filler tube. seems to be a common occurrence on this model transmission an easy fix that I may or may not get to before she sells.
