95 Caprice wagn 112k Up for bid is a 1995 Chevy Caprice Wagon with 112k miles. Lifelong southern car. Loaded up with power everything. Boasting GM's Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, she puts down plenty of power. Tow package with 2.93 limited slip rear end (GW9 & G80 build codes). Trailer preparation "tow package" means the factory rated the car to pull 5000 lbs but these did not come from the factory with hitches so all hitches are aftermarket. This car has a light duty hitch. Delivers consistent 16 in town and 24 highway at 70 mph. Clean history - send me your email address and I'll send you the history report. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Good battery & good charging system. Starts easy and runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is very straight with a couple very small dings low on left quarterpanel as seen in pics. Has a very small ding on the hood. No rust and no bondo. Above average. Paint: Paint is nice with a few scratches and chips consistent with age. Above average also. Wood: Upper wood trim was removed, painted tan and reinstalled so it won't peel like most do at this age. The side panel fake wood is in very good shape - all shiny and only a few nicks and chips and some defects on the tailgate. Other: Lower fake chrome trim has some fading. Windshield and all other glass are good with no chips or cracks. Undercarriage is super solid as seen in pics. Underhood sheet metal/wheelhouses are spotless. Tailgate sill and door jambs are also solid as seen in pics. Spoked hubcaps are in good shape - one has some curb rash. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in very good shape. Dash has no cracks. Cloth seating areas are in very nice shape. Carpet in seating area is very nice. Carpet in cargo area has a couple small stains. Headliner has a few small tears as seen in pics. Nice interior overall. Note that the blue basket on the front floorboard is Velocro'd in place, not screwed - easy to remove if you don't like it. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) The power antenna doesn't work but all other power options work reliably, including power windows, power locks, dual power seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo cassette, rear window release, rear wiper, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out great. Steering is tight, alignment is good, suspension is tight. Brakes work well with good linings. Tires have about 70% tread remaining front, 20% rear, on two matched pairs of good quality radials. Solid, quiet original stainless steel exhaust with no leaks. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No complaints - drive anywhere. Short version terms: Small non-refundable deposit as listed (but fast) by Paypal within 24 hours. Here is a really nice 1985 Chevrolet Caprice Classic 4 Door Sedan that is the quintessential granny car. It is an original 35,830 low mileage, (mileage on title), garage kept, rust free survivor that is bone stock, unmolested and meticulously maintained. There is no evidence of any collison repairs. It appears to have its original paint. It even still has its original exhaust. The GM part # is still on the rear resonator. The mileage also appears on a number of receipts for inspections and service by a local garage. Outer body and underside are solid. Interior is mint. Everything works including ice cold air conditioning. The options are too numerous to list, so a copy of the window sticker appears in the photos. The car runs, drives, and rides like new. If you live in Alaska, you can drive it home. This car was honestly purchased from an elderly lady whose husband had died and who no longer needed two cars. No sales pitch is needed, its condition speaks for itself. If you have any doubts about its condition, an in person viewing is encouraged and welcomed by appointment. Leather seating areas are in great shape with no rips or tears - leather is still soft. Carpet and all four factory floor mats are in good condition. Headliner is super nice - no sags or tears. Steering wheel has some very minor dye wear consistent with age. Trunk lining is nice with spare tire cover. Has full size spare (also original General AmeriTech but it's flat.) No smoke or pet odors. Very nice interior overall. I am selling for a good friend of mine a really ATTRACTIVE and CLEAN Wagon!! He has done a lot of engine overhaul and reconditioning of car to get it ready for the road. He has owned it for 4 years. I have rode in this thing and it runs and rides great. Can drive it anywhere. He has taken it on 300 mile road trips with a/c on and no hiccups. IT IS A DAILY DRIVER!! Your are looking at my 1995 Caprice, car only has 125k miles on the odometer. I am the second owner and I have all the documentation to prove it. This car was never a cop car, so you don’t have to worry about it being beat to death and all used up. I have added most of the exterior cap car stuff, as shown in the pictures. I don't even know where to begin to describe this amazingly pimped out 5.7 liter V8 Chevrolet Caprice. A labour of complete passion and love, some $75,000 was spent on this car to bring it to the way it is today. Starting life as a standard Caprice Classic its was given the full yellow theme. Fully loaded with stereo, video screens and gaming. Totally themed in Lamborghini yellow with a complete repaint, fully customised interior in yellow with fibreglass moulded dash and centre consoles. Even the windows are tinted in yellow. Custom aluminum steering wheel with hi-tech instruments and gauges. Nothing was spared in the customisation of this Caprice. Sitting on 24" Asanti colour matched wheels, this is the ultimate gangster ride. The stereo could blow out windows as you drive by whilst the car itself gets up and goes so fast, you wont have to pay for the broken glass! This car was traded in to us and I know little about these customised cars other than to say the project was clearly undertaken without sparing any expense and what you see is simply an amazing example of a "no holds barred" customisation. According to the previous owner, the car was featured in various magazines and brochures as well as taking out various show car awards.
