The car runs and drives down the highway nicely. It is still PA inspected till the end of the year. The radio does not work, the car takes a minute to warm up before take off but I really believe a tune up will solve that problem. There is rust in areas and note below the spare tire location is its worst spot. Suspension, tires, brakes, glass is all there and in good shape. We are seeing less and less of these and they are a cool cruiser for the money. All you have to do is get in it and go. : Has had oil changed, (about 100 miles ago) New Air filter, New Battery terminals, Both front brake pads replaced, left front wheel bearings and a cold temp sensor replaced. : Has power door locks, power windows, power seats, power mirrors. : Air conditioning is ICE COLD and heat is HOT. : Seats 9 with a 3rd row that faces towards the back (which is AWESOME!!!!!!!) . : has tilt steering, cruise control and ORIGINAL owners manual. : All glass is great with no chips or breaks. : All lights works great. : 2nd and 3rd rows of seats fold down to give you about 7-8ft of open space. : back hatch opens sideways but does not fold down. : Only 4 owners in 23years. Title is clear and in hand with no liens. : Like driving a floating couch, ride is beyond SMOOTH. (in my opinion better than a Caddy) : PERFECT FOR A EVERYDAY DRIVER OR A SLEEPER HOTROD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER RUNNING/DRIVING CAR FOR THIS KIND OF MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a replacement left signal light that is BRAND NEW. (Will try to put on before the car sells) Now for some of the not so good stuff...... : No radio. : 2 out of 4 vents are missing. : rear windows have trouble rolling back up (no need to roll down due to the cold A/C). : horn does not work. : hinges on back glass are shot (SO YOU HAVE TO HOLD IT UP WITH YOUR HAND) OPENS PERFECTLY. : wagon is from the north so there is rust by the gas cap and on some door sills. There is also a dent on the tailgate. : paint is ORIGINAL so there are some spots on top and hood that are faded. : A/C and heat only blows when knob is on high . : has rear wiper but doesn't work. What is a Preservation Class Car A preservation class car is sometimes referred to as a survivor car. These are automobiles that are mostly original and untouched since the day it rolled off of the factory assembly line. Emphasis is placed on original paint and the patina it has acquired over the years. Although the exterior finish will show wear and tear it still must accurately portray the color shade and be somewhat reflective. Original drive train components, wiring harnesses, engine compartment, trunk accessories and wheels are additional requirements for this class of automobile. The first rule of survivor cars is their original paint job. You cannot paint a collector car and still call it a survivor anymore than you can castrate a horse and still call it a stallion. Something is fundamentally different in both cases, although the horse has better reasons to be a lot sadder about the changes in his life. The paint job has to be the original finish, complete with orange peel and a thin layer of actual paint in many cases from the factories of the past. The car will be measured by its ability to have survived decades with nothing more than a wax job on its paint surface. View the pictures. No apologies needed for this true car museum piece. This car has 14" rally wheels with new tires, fender skirts, 327 motor had been rebuilt by previous owner and automatic 400 transmission, The body has minor rust at right front bottom of fender, bottom left front fender, rear glass channel where molding is installed. Rear glass molding is not installed to show rust and is present with car. Picture taken show most of the rust areas that I find visual. Head lights, tail lights, brake lights work. This is not a show car and my need some repairs to your standards or use as daily driver. The car has great interior no rips or damage to seats headliner in good condition. The front seat is a bench bucket style very rare and new replacement a/c dash installed and comes with tilt column steering wheel. Instrument clear panel missing, radio and cassette player not tested.
