I am selling a Beautiful 1997 Camaro SS. I love my car but we are expecting our second child to arrive and it is time to put my favorite passion aside. I know it is hard to find the 'right' car especially when it comes to a Camaro SS and when I originally started my search I took my time to find the right one. I got very lucky to find this car and I'm sure the next owner will feel the same way as well. I had a Professional Detail done which is known as Paint correction. If you google Paint correction you will find that it is the ultimate in detailing (please don't be mislead by it's name, Paint correction does NOT mean paint work, it is just a fancy (and expensive) way of calling car detailing with multiple types of polishes). You will see just how incredible my car looks in person. To the best of my knowledge the car has not had any paintwork or been in any accidents, there are no door dings. Carfax and other vehicle history reports show CLEAN. The clutch feels as it should and the transmissions shifts beautifully. There were only 2 owners prior to my purchase and for a car from 1997 that is very rare to find. It was originally purchased from a Chevy dealership in Hicksville on Long Island, NY. It's been garaged year round. An underbody inspection will prove that with absolutely no rust. It is a real SS that has been modified by SLP performance. I have the original window sticker and also SLP build sheet with VIN's matching. The car has been a show car and summer weekend cruiser. The car has only 36,400 miles Interior-Pioneer TouchScreen cd player with ipad/aux in/usb input connection-(1) 10" JL audio subwoofer and custom enclosure with supporting amplifier. (still allows fitment of t-top trunk storage) -Factory Hurst shifter from SLP -Non-smoker vehicle Engine-SLP Cold Air dual inlet intake which frees up the Ram Air hood scoop. Works great at keeping engine temps down, especially in the summer. SuspensionSLP Strut Tower BarBMR 1" lowering springs in rearBMR rear sway/anti-roll barBMR Non-Adjustable Lower Control Arm WheelsI replaced the OEM ZR1 wheels with the OEwheels ZR1 replica's; 17x9.5 in the front, 17x11 in the rear with Nitto 555 tires all around. I wanted the deep dish 11's rears in the back for a more muscular look. Negatives:There is one slight scratch about 1 inch and it is barely noticeable on the drivers side rear quarter panel, I believe it should be able to be buffed out. I do not know the gear ratio. American Racing Torque Thrust wheels on new tires. Power front disc brakes. Chrome and stainless is in like new condition. Brand new Optima battery,alternator and high torque starter. Vinyl SS stripes that can easily removed. am/fm CD player that sounds great. The Flowmaster exhaust, coupled with the aggressive cam provides that lumpy muscle car idle and intoxicating rumble of a bygone era. Purchased in 2009, it was a bit rough around the edges as you can see from the work I had done to the car. As indicated below, additional documentation I received when I purchased the car goes with the sale. Additionally, I have the Protec-O-Plate which goes with the sale as well as an original owners manual, shop manuals and build drawings, Major equipment on the car is in good working order including all exterior lights, turn signals, emergency flashers, brake lights, headlights (high and low beam), side marker lights, low and high speed wipers, windshield washer, heater/defroster, horn, door locks and latches. This is the 30th year for the Camaro and engraved into the seats is 30th Anniversary. The SS Camaro comes with the ram air induction hood, which feeds air as your driving directly from the outside of the car as it is forced into the ram air intake system. Its black on black and in great condition. minus a few minor cosmetics such as a few scuffs on the bumper and rear quarter on the passenger side bumper.
