Condition -Car sold As Is. Runs and drives great. Starts right up after getting vehicle warmed up but needs a tune up because it runs rough and has to be given a little gas on idle when engine is cold. Vehicle has some wear and tear and typical deficiencies of this year and body type of vehicle. Dash has cracking but has a dash cover. Some minor dents and scratches and some peeling paint on fiberglass parts. Interior needs cleaning and weatherstripping replaced. Will need new Vats keys to match ECU resistance since I changed the ignition cylinder or solder in the correct resistors and keep the autozone non resistor pellet Features- Nice chrome wheels, solid body and just an overall cool car with lots of potential and always one of my favorites. Engine has been modified to a 383 according to the previous owner so you can confirm when checking out if you have a compression testing kit. Upgraded exhaust and sounds real nice, check out the videos in the Google drive link I provided. Custom half roll cage has been installed. Power door locks and windows. Engine has great pull and power and runs without stepping on the gas once engine is warmed up. Yeah, it's a lot of money for a 1990 Camaro, but go ahead and try to find a nicer one. If you have a collection with a convertible IROC-shaped hole in it, this car deserves to be there. The paint is almost entirely original except for the trunk lid, which blends in so well you'd never know unless we told you, and there are some very, very minor signs of use on the high-traffic areas like the chin spoiler. Otherwise, this one is showroom fresh and beautifully maintained. Black is always a challenge to maintain, but it remains glossy and bright with minimal micro-scratches that cars get if they haven't been carefully stored and dusted. The IROC's look is undeniably aggressive, but in black, it's also sophisticated, especially with that single blue stripe running around its perimeter, which is really the only flashy part of the whole car. Details like the door handles, the emblems, the IROC-Z decals on the doors, and even the taillights are in virtually as-new condition. Gray leather buckets are a lot more luxurious looking than you'd expect in an F-body, but don't forget, this was the top-of-the-line model with an original sticker about where it's priced today. There are few minor signs of use on the driver's seat, which is probably inevitable after 25 years, but it is entirely original and untouched, which is the important thing. The package included an improved suspension, decal package, and a 305 cubic-inch L98 Tuned Port Injection system borrowed from the Corvette. The IROC-Z was featured on Car and Driver magazine's Ten Best List for 1985. The L69 small-block engine was offered from 1983 through 1986. The LB9 small-block was introduced in 1985; the L98 small-block was introduced in 1987; the LO3 was introduced in 1988. The LB9, L98, and LO3 stayed in production until 1992. The third generation Camaro was produced from 1982 through 1992. The all-new 1982 Camaro was shorter and lighter that now had a fastback appearance with a large, compound-curved window. It continued to use General Motor's F-body platform and were the first Camaros to use factory fuel injection, four-speed automatic transmissions, five-speed manual transmissions, 16-inch wheels, and four-cylinder engines.
