Very nice 1985 Chevy Scottsdale RWD pickup. Engine, transmission both rebuilt 200 miles ago. New edelbrock carb installed with engine along with new full tune, oil, brakes, battery, tires still pretty new also. THIS TRUCK RUNS AND DRIVES AWSOME feels like new. Pictures of receipts from work done over summer in pics ($7,000+) all done by local respected shops. Passed Oregon deq standards and has brand new Oregon tags. Small leak coming from I believe trans pan and when called shop was told was probably just crease in new pan gasket that was part of rebuild and easy fix. Also bed box does come with truck. Update: Have not had chance to get transmission check up yet but fluid has been fine last few times I drove it so think the small leak has gotten better. Also noticed a tick noise last couple times I took for a drive so had it checked out and mechanic who test drove it said it was exhaust manifold leak. was told except from the slight noise it is a minor problem and depending on replacement or resurfacing manifold cost is about 300-350 to fix (a lot cheaper if you can do it yourself). mechanic who drove it owns a 85 chev and was really impressed by how it ran and drove btw. I priced the buy it now price to reflect those minor issues.

Originally bought off the showroom floor by Mr Thompson he owned this truck for over three decades during which time maintained it and drove it back anf fourth around his little town. When he retired this past year I bought the truck from him. Before selling he had a local engine shop completely rebuild the SBC 350 Engine (new cam, new pistons, valves, etc, etc) - paperwork included! He also added a Custom Paint Job and kept up with maintenance. I purchased this truck purely as a little shop truck going to-and-from Home Depot and the auto parts stores. For reliability I just gave the truck a good overhaul including brand New front ball joints, new tires, brake overhaul with new proportioning valve and flushed all fluids and changed all filters and gaskets. This makes a great daily driver. Overall the truck is in very good condition. It has a few minor rust spots underneath in the normal places and some of the pin striping is peeling. All-in-all it runs, drives, stops and handles very well! I have up for sale a 1986 Chevrolet Scottsdale C-10 pick up truck. This truck has 80933 original miles. The dash has been replaced as well as the carpet. The seat is the original seat with a small tear on the drivers side. Truck has factory AC that is currently not working. A new radiator was installed less than a year ago. I have the original wheels with tires that will go with the truck. Truck has the 305 V-8 engine and is of course carborated. It is possible that carberator needs to be rebuilt, due to the truck idling a little ruff. The truck drives fine and has had no other issues. I am the third owner of the truck, and know the original owner if you need any information. Feel free to ask any questions that you may have.

I have had this truck for approximately 1 1/2 years. These are a few of the things I either have done or a mechanic has. New valve covers, new PVC, New lower and upper radiator hose, NEW spark plugs, New oil filter, New air cleaner, NEW fuel pump, NEW new water pump with New thermostat and anti-freeze, New radiatory cap, Spark wire wires, New thermostat, New windshield, New oil filter, New sprayed-in liner, Tool box with one side working at this time w/key, the other side needs adjustment for it to work as well. I put two NEW black door panels, NEW instrument bezel. This truck has a lot of potential in becoming a really nice restored truck. All it needs is a little TLC. I will help with the coordinating of your shipper or I will gladly meet you at the Albuquerque airport to deliver the truck to you. Very nice original paint and engine 76 chevrolet scottsdale short bed fleet side PuThis truck runs and drives awesome with its upgraded 700r4 overdrive automatic transmision and the sound from the magma flow exhaust system is music to the earsIt sits lower than stock do to the bell tech front drop spindles and rear shackle kitLooks as good as it runs and drivesThis truck is as solid as they come the only rust I could find was the battery tray and I replaced it with An N.O.S. one This truck is not perfect but is very nice and you will look long and hard to find one nicer that has original paint and engine.
