THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO OWN A NICELY RESTORED, RARE TRUCK. 1965 CHEVROLET C20 PICKUP. FLEETSIDE, 3/4 TON, LONG BED, 127” WHEELBASE. EXTENSIVE RESTORATION WAS DONE SEVERAL YEARS AGO AT A COST OF APPROXIMATELY $20,000. THE TRUCK HAS JUST BEEN GIVEN SOME MINOR FRESHENING, BOTH COSMETIC AND MECHANICAL. LOOKS GREAT, DEPENDABLE ENOUGH TO DRIVE ANYWHERE, IN ANY CONDITIONS. VINTAGE TRUCKS ARE THE HOTTEST PROPERTY ON THE MARKET CURRENTLY. THIS TRUCK IS PRICED WELL BELOW ANY OTHER TRUCK IN THIS CONDITION ON THE INTERNET. PRICED TO SELL TO A LUCKY NEW OWNER. PLEASE READ THE COMPLETE AD, AND VIEW ALL THE PHOTOS AND LINKS. ALL NEW PARTS AND RESTORATION WORK IS DOCUMENTED IN THE AD, RIGHT DOWN TO NEW BODY BUSHINGS. DON’T HESITATE ON THIS ONE, IT WON’T LAST. The style for the 1965 and 1966 remained essentially the same, with a few minor changes. There was no need to make drastic changes. The success of the truck line, built since 1913, was verified by the sale of the ten millionth truck in 1966. 1960-1966 represents the first generation of the modern C series Chevrolet trucks. The generation is viewed by collectors as the iconic truck, incorporating revolutionary mechanical and comfort designs. Most important of these were a drop-center ladder frame, allowing the cab to sit lower, and independent front suspension, giving an almost car-like ride in a truck. Chevrolet transitioned the pick up truck from essentially a farm and work truck, to a vehicle capable of every day use. This concept lives on today, and recreational trucks far outnumber work trucks. Chevrolet can be credited with this revolution. The fourth and final generation of the C/K line was the 1988-2002 platform. The aging C/K line was replaced with the Silverado series. Chevrolet has continued over the years to be in the forefront of style and passenger comfort. It all began with the first generation C/K series. Solid as a rock. Fully functional, mechanically solid. Most trucks available for sale are worn out hulks with a quick paint job. This one is not. There is a virtual laundry list of replaced parts, which will be documented below. CLICK ON THIS LINK FOR EXTERIOR PHOTOS: http://s514.photobucket.com/user/redeuce/library/1966%20CHEVY%20TRUCK%20EXTERIOR Truck was refinished several years ago in Black acrylic enamel with white top. Paint still has mirror gloss finish. A few minor flaws were just corrected with some professional paint spot blend work. Paint is classified as nice driver quality. Front windshield and side glass were replaced with new tinted pieces. Outer rear view mirrors were replaced, as well as antenna, outer door handles and locks, stainless window drip covers, side stainless trim, and stainless wiper arms. Brand new Bridgestone raised white letter radial tires, LT265/75R16. Brand new Chevrolet deluxe wheel covers. In the front, bumper was rechromed, new grille, new headlight trim rings. Tow package with wiring. CLICK ON THIS LINK FOR TRUCK BED PHOTOS: http://s514.photobucket.com/user/redeuce/library/1966%20CHEVY%20TRUCK%20BED Truck bed has been sprayed with Black Rhino Liner. Nice, solid wood floor has just been treated. CLICK ON THIS LINK FOR INTERIOR PHOTOS: http://s514.photobucket.com/user/redeuce/library/1966%20CHEVY%20TRUCK%20INTERIOR Inner cab was completely disassembled, stripped, and repainted Black and White. Dash, doors, and complete cab. Very good, uniform, glossy finish. Dash is so shiny, there is a pad to place on it to kill the glare. Late model truck split bench seat. Factory air conditioning. Everything is present with the exception of the compressor. New Grant steering wheel. Original miles unknown. Horn works. Speedometer works. Fuel gauge works intermittently. Oil pressure and amp gauge works. Turn signals and lights work. Temperature gauge is disconnected, and a new Sun Pro gauge installed under dash. Sun Pro Super Tach II. New Pioneer AM/FM/CD with five inch door speakers. Sun visors have been recovered. New door handles, window cranks, and vent window pulls. New Bow Tie step plates. Even the glove box liner is new. Set of GM seatbelts. New weatherstripping and seals, new window weatherstripping. Brake and gas pedal are new, as well as arm rests. New full Black floor mat. New Edelbrock Competition Series carburetor mounted on an aluminum intake manifold. K+N filter. Rebuilt alternator. Hydraulic cam and lifters. Headers with dual exhaust. HEI ignition. New fan, water pump, water overflow bottle, and fan shroud. New aluminum radiator. Bow Tie valve covers. 700R4 automatic transmission with trans cooler. Ten bolt rear differential. Power steering and power brakes. New power booster. New air horns. CLICK ON THIS LINK FOR UNDERCARRIAGE PHOTOS: http://s514.photobucket.com/user/redeuce/library/1966%20CHEVY%20TRUCK%20UNDER Southern undercarriage is clean, but natural, not detailed. All body bushings were replaced. New front springs were just installed, and front end was aligned. New rear springs and heavy duty shocks were installed during the original restoration. As stated, this is a clean, good looking, nice driving first generation C series truck. This is also a C20, which is a bit more unique. These trucks are selling anywhere from $18,000- $50,000. We have priced this high driver quality example at a price anyone can afford. This could be the best deal out there. Don’t pass this opportunity up. We specialize in the unique and rare, future investment affordable collector vehicles at old school prices. Since 1978 we have been a leader in finding rare and desirable cars. Most of our finds have done extremely well for our customers in terms of investments and enjoyment. Here is an example of a rare 1 of LS6 Chevelle we sold for 50k in the early 2000’s. http://www.classicmusclecars.com/cgi-bin/swrm/det.cgi?id=131&bl=m-;;k-;;nhs-195;;status-Sold;;sb- It was recently on eBay for 129k and has apparently sold. We sold this car in 1999, we found it, researched it, documented it, restored it. Recently in the collection of internationally known collector Ron Pratte. http://www.barrett-jackson.com/Archive/Event/Item/1970-CHEVROLET-CHEVELLE-SS-396-CONVERTIBLE-178646 Another example, we brokered the only 1968 Camaro Z-28 Convertible in July 1993 for 165K, it sold in 2002 for over 7 figures. These are just a couple of examples of the thousands of cars we have sold, and many were super investments. We know the rare muscle car market like no one on the planet. This 1966 C20 is a rare Vintage Classic Truck that fits into this category of an investment and enjoyment vehicle. It is a blue chip investment quality classic. *****1965 Chevrolet C-10***** Up for sale is a 1965 Chevrolet C-10 pickup truck. Has a strong 292 Inline 6 with a th400 transmission on 8 inch rally wheels. Runs & drives like a dream. Will not be disappointed. Truck was fully restored back in 2011 by previous owner. Have all pictures & receipt for work that was done ($4,000 worth). This is a very solid truck as you can tell by the pictures. There is one small ding in passenger side door. Overall this truck is a 9 out of 10. From what I can tell looks like a very good restoration job. Has only been driven about 1,000 miles since restored. Theres really to much to list as far as what was done (interior & exterior wise). I will note that the bed wood is very unique. It's rotten proof fiber type deck boards, so no worries about ever replacing again. Feel free to ask any questions I will answer within 24 hrs. Rust Free! This truck is a SHOW WINNER!! I have 100% Feedback so bid with confidence!!! Sold As Is No Warranty! Buyer Responsible For Pickup! I have a 1962 Shortbed, it is an original truck that came from Kansas City, very solid overall, has some rust on driver side corner floor, both fenders and rockers, other than than that is pretty decent, has the original engine, transmission, rear end, coil springs on the rear, the original wood on the bed still there. I bought it with the intension of keeping it and make a hot rod out of it but i have too many projects and I'm sacrificing my 62, it is a very very hard to find first generations of C10's. I restore and sell chevrolet trucks so i know what i have and the value of it, also a C10 appraiser. I make sure of buy originality, untouched trucks, so when i build them i don't get any surprises of others people mess. Its the infamous 235 ci last year of it, inline 6 match with a saginaw 4 speed with low gear. NOT road worthy but runs drives n stops but motor smokes horrible BUT it's an original untouched truck, has new brakes since i made it run to move around. Blank canvas to start new project, will require some sanding, scuffing and fabrication so it looks patina all around, old owner decided to paint it white for some reason and paint split so will need to be sanded, I tried to clean it to have the idea of which way i wanted to go thru but i just got too many projects to finish. I restore and sell C10's, so i know the value of them, every year is going up and up. 1962 models are the most hard to find models and came with the rare grill which was used in just that year, very hard to find model year. Truck can run drive and stop into your trailer or container. What i sell is originality, which actually comes with a price. Again Chevrolet trucks is what i do, so heres a clear example of a very rare and original truck.
