This listing is for a 1972 Chevy C10 Short Wheel Base SWB. This is a TRUE short bed. Truck has been in Colorado most of it's life so there is little to no rust. Rocker panels, cab corners, inner & outer fenders, doors all rust free. The frame and suspension are also in great condition. Has a strong 383 Stroker SBC Engine with a Billet dress up kit which includes Billet Pulley's on the water pump, power steering pump, & a chrome finished Alternator. Also has Ceramic Coated Headers with mufflers turned down at the rear axle, Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor, Brand New Radiator with dual electric fans and a Brand New Heater Core that's not installed yet. The truck runs and sounds awesome. Has a freshly rebult Chevy Hydramatic TH200-4R transmission and the original 4.11 posi-traction rear end. New brake lines and fuel lines with electronic fuel pump. The interior is in excellent condtion with new carpet, new door panels, new upholstery on the seat, new dash pad, new kick panel speakers on both sides, and a Grant Steering Wheel. All new rubber around windshield, back glass and doors. Nice Rally Wheels with tires that are less than 3 months old. Original Glove box options sticker with vin # matching the vin plate in the door jam. All the gauges work great except the speedometer. Front aluminum grill housing needs buffed and polished. Speedtech Performance is a SEMA award-winning custom car shop from Canada, that moved to Southern Utah in 2012. Located in a 20,000 square foot full service facility, Speedtech offers over 200 unique manufactured in-house suspension packages and LS/ T-56 swap parts. Speedtech Performance has stayed true to their original goals, most recently taking the Pro-Touring world to an entirely new level through their new line of ExtReme chassis & suspension products. The guys @ Speedtech were itching to create a custom hauler for some time and needed a good excuse to develop some brand new suspension parts for the ‘67-‘72 Chevrolet C10 crowd. This little ’68 C10 wandered into the shop looking like it had had a pretty tough life, and after waiting patiently in the corner for several months the truck finally emerged along with a pretty serious game plan. This truck was built from the ground up entirely by Speedtech Performance’s custom shop. The entire build was documented w/ an extensive volume of photos from day one. Countless man-hours were spent making sure that all of the sheet metal was laser straight and all body panels perfectly aligned. It was painted in single stage Gloss Black, which was color sanded & buffed. The areas in White are a wrap, which can be easily removed at any time if you so choose. All windows are flush mount & tinted grey, and the vent windows in the doors were removed. The bed floor was raised 4” and the tubs were widened 4” to accommodate the Forgeline GT3C wheels (19” up front & 20” on the rear), which are wrapped w/ Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Classic 1975 Chevrolet C10 Custom in excellent running condition. Just had the steering redone so it drives straight as an arrow. Truck is equipped with the more desirable short-bed. The 250 inline 6cyl engine is surprising good on gas. The engine and transmission (3-speed on the floor, with an additional low torque gear) are very strong so it's a blast to drive. I've taken it on longer trips and it has never had any problems. It does need cosmetic work, but it would be an excellent project. All of the electrical works, no lighting problems. Registration is current and good for the next year. Mileage reads 39,000 but I don't think that's what it actually is. The actual mileage is unknown. List of new items: 3 brakes are all new, 2 front disc, 1 of the rear drums (I have the parts for the other rear drum, just haven't replaced them yet)New front fenders (1 installed, the other not)All new tiresNew v-beltNew distributorNew manual steering box and pitman arm bushingsNew windshield wipers Parts for this truck are available through a variety of retailers (LMC Truck being one of the better ones), and everything is very cheap. Under the hood sits a strong SBC 350 V8 4 barrel coupled to a smooth shifting TH350 transmission. This truck runs, drives & stops tip top and draws a crowd of admirers wherever its parked. That is not the case with this machine, because to me, it is the perfect combination of classic original looks, modern upgrades, and exceptional reliability that is a formula I didn’t want to mess with! Let’s start with the body. It is incredibly straight, exceptionally clean, and has nothing except a handful of normal little real-world marks on it like stone chips and tiny scuffs from being driven. It is all steel, and all solid with NO bondo panels, chicken wire, beer cans, or anything else in it. I have taken a 4 inch square felt covered magnet over the entire painted exterior and it sticks like glue! Gaps, fit, and finish is about as nice you can get on a real truck that isn’t some 6-figure Barrett-Jackson build, and doors shut with a gentle push, hood aligns correctly, and tail gate stays secure and rattle free when driving. The light blue finish is Diamont, and right out of the 1966 color chart. It is in very good condition, and shows to be shiny, bright, and free of orange peel, debris, and other irregularities. The off-white trim on the roof and side insert panel is GM correct too, and looks just as nice, with a glossy, wet shine that really goes well with the blue, and has a classic, old-truck look. Chrome grill and front and rear bumpers look stunning, and are free of any major issues. Marker light inserts upfront are stainless, and show well, while the chrome trim around the rear tail lamps and marker lights looks great too! Tail gate chains are covered to prevent scratching anything, and the chrome latches look good and function as they should. Chrome stake-hole caps look great, and provide a great place to tie down loads. Door handles show wonderfully, as do all the side trim spears, cab trim panels, side view mirrors, antennae mast, and stainless wiper arms. Emblems look great as well, and the final shiny bits on the truck are the dual exhaust tips that look great peeking under the back bumper. Glass is clean, and has no chips, cracks, or damage evident. All of the weather seals inside and out are clean, solid, and soft to the touch, and supply proper sealing of the cab against water intrusion. The bed wood on the truck was water-sealed, and then each plank was treated to LINE-X spray before being installed in the truck, which had the whole bed interior coated in LINE-X already. To set things off, polished stainless strips were installed with new hardware. Collectively, it looks amazing, and totally different than the sea of pine you usually see. The truck rides on 10 hole PACER alloy wheels with chrome center caps that have seen better days in the looks department, but are fully functional and straight. They are wrapped in modern Grand Am Radial GT tires with at least 80% of the useable tread life remaining, and they are size 255-70R15 at all four corners. Open the doors, and you are met with a clean, neat, and well-done interior that shows wonderfully. The entire inside cab, including the dash and door panels, has been painted in Graphite Metallic paint and is as shiny, slick, and wet looking as the exterior. A stock gauge cluster works perfectly and looks great. It includes: FUNCTIONAL GENERATOR LIGHT FUNCTIONAL OIL LIGHT FUNCTIONAL COOL AND HOT LIGHTS FUNCTIONAL FUEL GAUGE FUNCTIONAL ODOMETER FUNCTIONAL SPEEDOMETER (although GPS shows it is 8mph fast). WORKING 12 VOLT OUTLET WORKING ASHTRAY WORKING GLOVEBOX WITH LINER WORKING HEADLAMP SWITCH WORKING HIGH BEAM SWITCH WORKING TURN SIGNAL SWITCH WORKING WIPER WASHER SWITCH WORKING FAN CONTROL SWITCH WORKING SIDE VENT LEVERS The stock steering column is painted to match, and the shift location is capped because the prior owner elected to install a LOKAR floor mount shifter with boot and polished bezel. A chrome 3-spoke steering wheel with wooden rim looks amazing, and allows room for drivers with a larger chassis. There are no odors of any kind in the truck, and no sign of any pet dander either. Rear view mirror and dual visor mounts show light natural patina, but still look good, while the visors themselves are in as new condition. A KENWOOD AM-FM-Cassette has been in the truck for a long time, and the prior owner didn’t listen to it much, so never saw a need to upgrade it. It works like it should, and picks up channels and plays cassettes which sound surprisingly good. The under dash hand controlled E-Brake works like it should. NOS style carpeting is in very good condition with no rips, tears, stains, or damage. It is held down on the sides by chrome sill plates, while show polished rocker trim protects the paint from getting scuffed when getting in and out. Stock pedals are in good condition, and function perfectly. Each door has a clean and functional armrest in black vinyl that look great, along with new appearing window rollers and door pulls. Light scuffs on the driver and passenger inner door from the prior owner could be touched up easily, but are not so bad as to require it. Fuel tank is only a few years old, and is clean and functional. The truck has been run on mid-grade unleaded by the prior owner for years with no issues. Plus, since it was regularly driven, it never succumbed to ethanol clogging like some vehicles. Vinyl and cloth bench seat looks and feels new, and has no rips, tears, stains, or seam pulls. It is VERY comfortable, has room for 3 adults, and lap belts for two. Open the hood, and you are greeted by a clean and utilitarian engine bay that shows nicely, but puts function ahead of form. The 350CI decodes as a CKD L48 block from a 1977 Corvette. I cannot get the head numbers, nor access the casting number on the back of the motor. It is a solid and great running motor that has been worked regularly over the last 4-5 years and has not sat stagnant. I have personally driven the truck about 150 miles in the last few weeks or so, taking it to a show about 30 minutes away in a mix of highway and town driving, and it runs like a champ with no issues. It is nicely dressed with chrome air cleaner and valve covers, everything else is painted and clean, and it shows quite well with the hood up at car cruises. Hoses, lines, and wiring are all newer, neat, and cleanly placed and loomed throughout, and everything underneath works like it should. NOS radiator keeps its cool, even when stuck in rush hour traffic, and I had it idling for 30 minutes when I took the photos with no issues or incidents. A 350 turbo transmission shifts smooth and clean with no shift kit, stall converter, or other modifications. A 12-bolt GM rear end fitted with drum brakes and what is believed to be a 3.83 rear end. The truck runs about 3600 rpm at GPS verified 70mph, and seems to be in its sweet spot at 60 mph cruising at approx. 2400rpm. I did not open the rear end, and am basing the gear ratio off a tire diameter/speed/rpm calculator. Stock suspension and underpinnings have been updated with new components over the years, but staying with stock style parts. It is not lowered, altered, or adjusted from stock, and rides and handles remarkably well. The chassis is clean and neat, but is NOT detailed or ready for car show mirrors. It is a truck that was made to be driven, and has the normal nicks, scrapes, chips, dirt, and grime that being on the road provides. It probably shows nicer than your regular car underneath, but would need detailed and degreased to look its best. The best part of the chassis is that is has not been treated to the usual “rust proof spray gunk” treatment like so many others, so you can actually see that it is real, solid, and damage free metal underneath. When I start the truck up cold, I let it idle clean until the cool temp light shuts off, then it is ready to roll. Snick the LOKAR shift into gear, and power is plentiful as you shift through all speeds. The truck handles great, and you can drive with one hand on the wheel with no odd pulling, wander, or excess slop. Braking is solid and sure, and the truck rubs off speed with ease, and never pulls, wanders, or has excessive modulation. It runs cool, is blast to cruise in, and has nice clean rumble that isn’t too loud, and isn’t too quite either. Like a newer V8 Camaro. If you are looking for an exceptionally clean, straight, honest short bed pickup that you can drive an enjoy as it sits, or customize to your taste, this is the right truck for you. A lowering kit, some 20’s, and you could have yourself another carbon copy trend-follower, or you can just cruise it around like it is, and be different. Truck has been lowered a bit and top has been chopped about 2.5in. Black primer exterior with custom pinstripes. Truck runs and drives like a rat rod pickup with a huge motor..would suggest larger tires in the rear at some point for better traction. Truck comes with brackets for the vintage air compressor. Vintage air system is installed but was never finished by prior owner, I never needed it, window works fine. Selling to fund other projects.

She need a few thing done which are included except trans front seal, intake leaks a little antifreeze, manifold and rockers are included, I'd drive her to New York tomorrow after some new rubber, tread is good, just tires are old, the only cancer you will find on her is in rocker area, the rest of the truck is cancer free, trying to be fair on pricing.
