Need to make room in the garage soon so make me an offer! Selling my 1971 Chevy Custom Sport Truck. Im a professional mechanic specialising in customs and classics and this truck is my personal project. Freshly painted and highly optioned. The truck has a 350 engine, th350 automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes with front discs, Kenwood cd player, Classic wood steering wheel. Original A/C truck, compressor isnt there. Older Mallory ignition system. Front and rear sway bars, rare. Rear overload springs, dual exhaust and much more..... see options list on the glove box door. Very solid truck with original never patched floors or cab corners. I could not verify it but I think the mileage is original because of the trucks condition. Underneath the truck doesn't look like it's seen much time on or off road. It runs and drives very well. The paint is a custom Cobalt Pearl Blue and GM frost white. The truck turns heads and people can't help but walk around it a couple of times just to see the color change at different angles. I tried to capture that in the photos but it's hard to fully appreciate unless you're in front of the truck. The truck is beautiful but there are some things that show their age like the seat that could use a new seat cover or to be reupholstered. If buy it now is used I'll recover the seat in black. The engine had valve cover gaskets leaks and could stand to be cleaned up a little. The tires are low on tread and the wheels show their age as you can see in photos. 1970 Chevy C10 Custom Sport Truck (CST): The most popular Chevrolet trucks with collectors are those built between 1967 and 1972. Several factors explain the collector popularity of these trucks. First, they're just damn good looking! To many, the lines of Chevy pickups in this styling series, particularly the 1969-1972 models, are a "classic" expression of what a pickup truck should look like. Up for auction is my 1967 C10 CST Short wheel base truck. I have owned many classic cars and trucks and this one is one of favorite! Extremely Reliable! The truck has been lowered with front and rear lowering springs, brand new rims and tires (18" front and 20" rear). No Rubbing! Handles Great! This truck has spent its entire life in the South! Originally was purchased new in Louisiana, then sold in Mississippi. I have the original documents (including protect-o-plate) that will go with the truck to the new owner. This truck is rare with factory buddy seats (buckets), A/C (which is not currently hooked up) and Front Power Disc Brakes, Power Steering. Currently has a 350V8 - not the original motor to the truck. Not sure about the automatic transmission if its original or not. Shifts great though. Newer chrome trim on body. Looks great. I have taken this truck on many trips, runs and stops great! Would drive it anywhere. The paint is not original, factory color was bright blue with blue interior. I was in the process of changing the interior back to blue (pic - dash pad) but never got around to finishing it. Interior is in good shape with newer carpet and seat covers. Original steering wheel and all factory gauges work (lights, turn signals, wipers and horn) Pioneer AM/FM/CD Player, new dash speakers and 6x9's under the seat. Windshield has a small crack in it... Never installed a new one.. Adds character..... Paint on the truck is good, some scratches but NO DENTS. Nice Patina finish. In some places you can begin to see the original blue coming through the black paint. Truck has a painted diamond plate bed but original wood is still under the truck. See pics - pretty cool! This truck gets a lot of looks and thumbs up! You can drive this truck with easy and never have to worry about getting a chip in your custom paint.... Just get in and drive!!!
