Classic 1966 Chevy C 10 Custom Pick up Description: I am selling my beautiful 1966 Chevy C10 Custom cab truck. It is in very nice condition, not perfect like a show truck, just very nice original condition body wise. A very strong motor under the hood, good transmission, really good brakes, looks and runs great. This truck is not a show truck, it is a very clean usable pick up that runs and is used almost daily. But with a little more work you could make it into a show truck. The truck is has current plates and registration on it. I have clear title. Details: Of course over the years like almost all these trucks the motors and transmissions have been upgraded. Mine is no different, it has a strong Chevy 350 crate motor under the hood with a band new Carter AFB competition series four barrel carburetor setting on top with nice aluminum valve covers (Corvette Covers I think). Followed up by a brand new turbo 350 short tail transmission that was just rebuilt less than 1000 miles ago, of course I do have the paper work for the repairs. A power boaster was added to the brake system so the brakes are very good. The body is in excellent condition, one tiny rust spot along the driver door jam, and one on the bottom corner of the driver’s door. The truck is very strait no bondo or major dents. It has been repainted once in the past some time using the original color. Some work will be required on the clear coat because it is peeling on the hood (see photo 23). The bed is wooden and has been replaced, and is still in good condition. The tires do not have a lot of life left in them so replacing them would be something to consider down the road. The only mechanical issue that I would say the truck has is a little front end work is due on the driver’s side; the upper ball joint is in need of replacing in the future. According to my mechanic is it a $400.00 repair using quality parts. Other than that the truck is in great shape. It does have a nice aftermarket stereo installed that sounds good, all the lights, wiper, heater, and windows all function as they should. This is a very nice solid original 66 Chevy truck, with one of the most sought after colors on the market. Don’t miss out!
