I got tired of dealing with carburetor issues and had this truck updated in 2002 with a new 5.7L/350 Vortex fuel injection engine and new 4L60 transmission. I also had installed new bucket seats with center console, AM/FM cassette with bass and audio power amps and XM satellite radio. Additionally, I had installed a new gas tank, flowmaster dual exhaust, viper alarm system, and new rear end. I haven't had any problems with this truck other than routine maintenance. There is currently about 80,000 miles on this engine. Most of the miles are highway miles. The body is in excellent condition for a 1982 truck. Expect some imperfections here and there. Note the minor rust spots on the photos. Must see to appreciate. This is a SHARP TRUCK! A Hypertech power programmer is included free. You can adjust top speed limit, change factory engine turning to high performance, change the gear ratios and change the tire size for larger tires. 1985 short wide bed c10 body is straight and rust free! rear is leaf spring. disc breaks up front drums out back. ball joints need replaced as do the shocks. nice cowl hood truck came with a v6 that was replaced with a 1980-85 305 v8. the small block runs and drives but is very tired. id say rebuild it but no one wants to spend money on a 305. drop you a long block in and go. transmission is fine. shifts like it should. true dual exhaust with long tube headers, all gauges work, wipers work head lights,radio all work. non electric windows sliding back glass with vents up front. ac doesn't work but all components are there including a new compressor heater works fine, wheels are in perfect condition with new tires. clean clear title in my name, will help with shipping which you are responsible for. you can not drive this home but starts right up for easy trailer loading. truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end auction at anytime truck is in Oklahoma city. 73159 any questions you can call or text, 405-215-6315
