Up for sale is this barnfind original California black plate survivor 1970 Chevrolet C10 / Custom truck. This truck was purchased new at John Roth Chevrolet in Merced, CA and has spent it's entire life in Mariposa, CA with 2 owners since new and the most recent owner since 1975. This truck is rust free and solid. Original drivetrain is in good condition and consists of a 350 V8 engine and an automatic transmission. Factory options include: tinted glass, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, push button radio, and more. This truck has not been used as a daily driver for a number of years, but still starts and drives well. Before putting in back on the road for daily driver status I would suggest going through and checking and replacing the usual wear and tune up items. Most electrical works as it should: factory T3 headlights, turn signals, wipers, gauges, dome light, dash lights, radio, horn, etc. The fuel gauge was working but recently stopped. All of the glass is original and in good condition with the exception of a crack in the bottom of the windshield. Interior is all original with the exception of the seat being redone at one point. Original build sheet is still behind the seat as well as the original jack and other items. The interior is in excellent condition for it's age. The transmission was rebuilt in 2003 at 108,620 miles and the truck has only done just over 700 miles in the last 11+ years. Engine runs strong and the transmission shifts smooth. I only have the ignition key and not the door or tool box key(s), but they should be easy for you to have made. The truck appears to have been repainted at one point in it's life and has a great aged look to it. Included with the sale are the original owners manual, protection policy and protecto plate, transmission rebuild paperwork/warranty, and other items as pictured. Overall this is a great looking and very solid survivor farm truck that is sure to bring it's new owners years of enjoyment.
