South Carolina Truck. Desirable big back window. I bought this truck 2 years ago to be my daily driver during the summer. I drove it for a few months and decided to pull the engine to fix some oil leaks, one thing turned into another and I practically rebuilt the entire truck. I purchased over 15k in parts and spent nearly 250 hours working on it. I'll make a detailed list below of whats new. The truck had a late model steering column when I got it so I installed a correct 1965column from a manual trans truck and converted it to automatic shifter. The cluster has factory gauges not the dummy lights, has a working factory tach. Being from the South, the truck is solid but has had rocker and floor work done in the past. Truck is not beat up and makes for a great shop style truck.Rides and drives great, everything works except the fuel gauge which needs a new gauge and the temp gauge is not accurate. I've recently ordered a $800 power steering kit for the truck which should be here next week that I will install. Texas with an excellent super clean rock solid body. Desirable big back window, Originally V6 Automatic but now has a 292 straight six with a 4 speed. All the glass is good.Windsheild is new. Interior is good. Wipers work. Heater works.Radio works. Lights work.Gas gauge works. Speedo works.Tires are new.The paint is good with a nice shine.Some chips. Southern truck with an excellent rock solid body and beautiful patina. Runs and drives nice. New Corvette master cylinder, wilwood proportioning valve, new brake lines and hoses. New 2.5 drop spindles and disc brake conversion, cpp springs, rear has a flip kit, custom fabbed shock mounts and c notch. Blasted and powdercoated wheels. Interior is original and in decent shape.
