This truck is in solid shape with nice patina and a couple minor dents (driver door, rear passenger side quarter panel). The truck has a 5.3l LS motor out of a 2006 Suburban that was completely rebuilt. The junkyard motor didn't have an intake so now it has the Edelbrock intake with the LS timing module and Holley carb. Stage 2 Th400 (good for 650hp) automatic transmission. Sanderson headers into 2 1/2in exhaust and Flowmaster Super 40 mufflers. Sounds fantastic. Power disc brakes on the front make the truck stop very well. The interior has been reupholster and has new carpet. All the gauges work.It has a new AC/heat system that was professionally installed and works great. New rubber on all four wheels with lots of life left. All lights and indicators work, as well as the horn and windshield wipers (inspected and tagged in TX).This truck could go 2 ways: leave it as is and drive it everywhere, or put in a hot cam for significant power increases (Hotrod Mag did a feature on the 5.3l motor and with the right cam and everything else stock it made 420hp). Parting is such sweet sorrow.... She's been fun but I'm moving on to other hobbies. 1970 Custom C-10 with all factory instruments (working); factory air (not cold); 350 CI engine / 350 TH transmission; AM/FM radio works but could use upgraded sound system. Added HEI distributor but otherwise bone stock. She's a Southern Belle born in St. Louis spending most (if not all) of her life in Texas and as solid as they come. Odometer is 48109 but true mileage is unknown. Today she's a garage queen driven only occasionally. An older restoration but she runs and drives great, a ready and willing weekend honey-do partner.
