I bought this from a person locally. It had been sitting a long time. I put in a new battery and it started right up. I drove it around in the yard and up the road about a mile and back.. It starts and runs and drives and stops but I wouldn't trust it very far as its been sitting so long. The brakes have a leak so you have to pump them. Has a lifter tick but otherwise sounds good. Smokes some but like I said it hasn't been ran in years. The radiator has a small leak. I think a little going through and it would be driveable as is but its beyond my know how. As it sits I would recommend trailering it for a long distance. I was told by the previous owner it was in her family for many years. I described it the best I can. Its a old rusty truck so don't expect a new one. That being said it has tons of vibe and patina and would make a cool rat rod although I will cry if someone does that to it. lol Please see the pictures. Its located in Bessemer Alabama 35023. I bought this from a person locally. It has been sitting a long time. I put in a battery and it kicked right off. I drove it around in the yard but didn't really wanna go any further. It starts and runs and drives and stops but I wouldn't trust it very far as its been sitting so long. It needs a restoration but would make a good one to do a little at a time. The I put in new plugs and motor starts right up. Has a lifter tick but otherwise sounds good. Smokes some but like I said it hasn't been ran in years. The radiator has a small leak. I think a little going through and it would be driveable as is but its beyond my know how. As it sits I would recommend trailering it for a long distance. I am partial to these, I want one that needs a little less attention mechanically though. So much history. I was told its all original so that is kinda cool to me. Be cool to rat rod if you are into that. I described it the best I can. Its a old rusty truck so don't expect a new one. I would like to have the battery back as I borrowed it from my Volkswagen bug.
