SUPER STRAIGHT AND SOLID BODY, CLEAN AND SHINY PAINT, ULTRA NICE INTERIOR, AND EVERYTHING YOU COULD ASK FOR IN A DAILY DRIVER CAPABLE SHOW TRUCK! GM 292 INLINE 6 THAT STILL RUNS LIKE A SEWING MACHINE, WITH A CLEAN SHIFTING POWERGLIDE TO BACK IT UP! THE PERFECT TRUCK TO TAKE TO THE SHOWS ON THE WEEKEND, AND ACTUALLY USE LIKE A TRUCK WHENEVER YOU WANT TO! CALL ME AT 941-286-0889 WITH QUESTIONS. THIS VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN DETAILED!!! IT HAS BEEN WASHED, VACUUMED, AND WIPED DOWN WITH TURTLE WAX QUICK SHINE PRIOR TO BEING PHOTOGRAPHED. IMAGINE HOW AMAZING IT WILL LOOK WHEN YOU TAKE THE TIME TO DETAIL AT HOME! OVERVIEW Admit, you love trucks as much as everyone else does! I am not ashamed to say I am a TRUCK NUT, and I have sold more pickups over the years than I can even remember. Some of my favorite trucks are the clean, stick looking machines that you can get in and drive just like it was the 60’s all over again. These trucks let you enjoy your investment a whole lot more than staring at a Trailer Queen because you can’t take it out for fear of rain. This truck is the perfect combination of clean looks, classic style, and dialed-in performance that makes it reliable and ready for that long road trip, or short hop into town. Please take a moment to read the detailed listing, look over the 100 extra-large detailed photos, and then call me to make it yours before someone else does it first! THIS VEHICLE HAS A CLEAN AND CLEAR FLORIDA TITLE IN OUR POSSESSION, AND IS NOT A CONSIGNMENT VEHICLE. FOR VEHICLE FINANCING, APPLY ONLINE AT: WWW.JJBEST.COM WWW.LIGHTSTREAM.COM DESCRIPTION If you have vacationed on the beautiful islands of Sanibel and Captiva, FL over the past 5 years, you have probably seen this gorgeous 1965 C10 pickup on more than a few occasions! The prior owner used it almost daily to run around the two island communities, as well putting it into service for parades and special events. This truck is the PERFECT blend of reliability, old school cool, performance, and head turning good looks, and it is ready to go wherever you want to drive it. The body on the truck is SUPER solid and straight, as you can see from the 100 large photos showing the door jambs, undersides of fenders and doors, rockers, cab corners and everything else. There is NO sign of rust, rot, bondo panels, chicken wire, or crushed up cans on the truck, just all REAL STEEL from front to back. Gaps and fit and finish are all well above average, and certainly better than factory stock! Doors close properly, tail gate functions as it should, and the hood is adjusted to line up perfectly without any lift or gap anywhere. The glass on the truck is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks, or damage evident. Seals and rubber trim all look very good, and even the vent windows function like they should. There are some very minor little normal use blemishes on the truck, and I have highlighted them in the photos below next to a tape measure to show you how small they are. Tiny scuffs, stone chips, and light paint runs under the rockers that you can’t see unless the truck is on a lift are what I am talking about. There are NO large dents, dings, or damaged areas on the truck. The finish is rich Brandywine Metallic GM paint, and it looks really nice on the truck! Glossy, slick, and wet all the way around, with just a hint of sparkle in under the noon day sun! Other than the aforementioned minor blemishes, it shows really well, and is clean and straight too. Cab corners, rockers, fender rolls, rain gutter, door edges, and more are all clean, straight, and show no signs of rot and rust. Front and rear bumpers are in fantastic condition, and gleam brightly in the sun. Mirrors look good, as do the eyebrow light surrounds, tail light surrounds, side trim, antenna, wiper arms, tail gate chains, emblems, and badging. You may see light patina and signs of use, but they are fully serviceable. Door handles show light to medium wear and patina, as do the trim panels on the sides of the cab. The front grill looks great, but is starting to show patina and oxidation mainly on the bottom segment of it. If you are going to drive and enjoy the truck, I doubt these items would bother you, but if you want to take up to a full show truck level, you’ll want to address them eventually. The truck rides on 6-lug chrome wagon wheel style rims that look great from a distance, but do have oxidation and wear on the inner lip corner. Again, if you are going to keep driving and enjoying this truck it probably won’t matter, but to make it a show winner you’ll want to grab new wheels. Since wheels are such a personal thing, I thought it best to leave these on and let you pick your own. That being said, the rims are not bent, damaged, or anything else, and they are wrapped in GODODYEAR Workhorse Radial tires size LT235/75R15 rubber that has a good amount of safe tread remaining. Glass on the truck is crack, chip, and damage free, and doesn’t show any laminate issues either. All of the rubber trim, seals, and stripping looks really good too. The wood side rails go in the factory stake pockets and can be removed or installed by one person. The Sanibel Island lettering can be sanded off if you want to put something more personal on it. All the wood is in good condition, as is the hardware. Tail gate is rust and rot free, and opens and closes like it should. The tail gate chains do double duty keeping the gate shut when it is up, and holding it flat when it is down. Bed sides and wheel tubs are in great condition, with only normal marks from the truck actually being used as, well, a truck. No damage or disrepair to be found. The prior owner installed 3 large panels of weather treated wood, and used all the original hardware mounting points, to create a cleaner, easier to use bed that you can slide things in and out of easier than the narrower bands and aluminum strips. It is highly functional, looks great, and is super sturdy too. The exhaust tip peeking out of the driver side rear end is oxidized and pitted. I am including another new tip for you to install when you get the truck home. Overall, the outside the truck is clean enough that you can call it a show truck, take it any local or regional event, and probably even win a prize for something. Any little blemishes or items mentioned above are really inconsequential to the overall appearance of the truck. Pop open the hood and you are greeted by what is believed to be the original GM 292 inline straight 6 engine. The block numbers show it to be correct era and time. The engine runs so nice it will make you think it is 1965 all over again! The prior owner relied on this truck as a daily use vehicle on the islands, so it has been carefully maintained to be as reliable as it was when new. The engine has already had new gaskets, valve seals, most of the hoses, plugs, and more done in the last 8-10 months, and when we had the truck serviced and safety checked, they couldn’t find a thing that it needed. Engine bay is clean and presentable, and everything works like it should underneath the hood. Radiator is an OEM replacement unit less than a year old, and keeps the temps cool even in our hot Florida weather. Factory heat and defrost settings appear to work like they should, without issue. Not a lot of chrome or billet in this machine, just a nice looking breather. Everything else is more about functionality than good looks. When you get the truck home and take the time to degrease, detail, and clean the engine bay, it will look even nicer than it already does. Chassis on the truck is stock, clean, and solid. There is no sign of any rust, rot, or damage underneath, and the bare frame and pans are NOT covered in black spray on goop or anything else to hide stuff. You can see from the photos that only light oxidation resides on the bare metal, and that comes right off with a whisk of a wire brush. The rest of it is dirt and grime from being driven, but basically it is just a clean, straight, and well-kept chassis from front to back. Coil springs all the way around give the truck a nice smooth ride, without being to cushy. Cab and bed mounts are dirty, but appear functional and fine. Stock rear end gets power from the 292 via the original 2-speed powerglide transmission, which shifts great, and makes driving the truck a blast! Shift it into gear, and the truck is ready to roll! It gets up to speed pretty quick, and will hang with 70mph traffic all day long if you want it to! Driving it, I noticed that the speed was slow, so we checked it with GPS Navigation and found that the speedometer is 8 mph slower than reality, so 62 on the speedo is actually 70 in real life. Keep that mind when you’re out cruising! The truck handles great, steers great, and really truly is a capable daily driver that feels as solid as it must have in 1965! I have personally driven the truck about 120 miles, and it is a BLAST! It is fun to pass people on the freeway in an old truck , and it is nice to hear all the requests to take a picture of it anytime you stop. Opening up the doors reveals a stock style interior that is clean, and ready for you and your passengers. Door panels have OEM style arm rests, door pulls, and windows rollers, and look great! Dash is clean, straight, and painted to match, with a functional instrument panel showing TEMP, DC, FUEL, and OIL PRESSURE. Underneath that you will find the switchgear for the headlamps, electric wipers, and the functional choke to the left of the column, while the key switch and cigar lighter reside to on the right. Heat and defrost controls work as they should, and the ashtray opens and closes like it should along with the glove box. Factory radio is in the truck, but stopped working about 3 years ago. I do not know why. The prior owner installed a newer AM/FM Cassette player in a custom enclosure under the dash, and it sounds great through the modern kick panel mounted speakers. The bench seat has been fully recovered and sprung in the past 2 years, and it is comfortable, clean, and looks amazing! Dual visors and rear view mirror look great, as does the dome light. Steering column is painted to match, and topped with an original wheel in very good condition. Signals work, as does the PRNDL selector on top of it. Carpet is new from just a few years ago, and still looks fantastic in the truck. It was installed over a layer of insulating and heat proofing material. Gas and brake pedals are clean and utilitarian in style, and the E-Brake appears to function as it should as well. The whole interior is just a really clean and nice place to command this machine from, and will make your passengers happy too! That about sums it up! If you have any other questions, want additional photos, or need more info, just CALL ME at (941)286-0889 and I will try and help. If you want a clean and solid pickup that you can drive whenever and wherever you want, but still take to car shows with pride, this is probably the truck for you. In the area? Come see it. If not, fly down here for a personal showing! I am willing to bet that the first person who comes here to see it in person will buy it. THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO OWN A NICELY RESTORED, RARE TRUCK. 1965 CHEVROLET C20 PICKUP. FLEETSIDE, 3/4 TON, LONG BED, 127” WHEELBASE. EXTENSIVE RESTORATION WAS DONE SEVERAL YEARS AGO AT A COST OF APPROXIMATELY $20,000. THE TRUCK HAS JUST BEEN GIVEN SOME MINOR FRESHENING, BOTH COSMETIC AND MECHANICAL. LOOKS GREAT, DEPENDABLE ENOUGH TO DRIVE ANYWHERE, IN ANY CONDITIONS. VINTAGE TRUCKS ARE THE HOTTEST PROPERTY ON THE MARKET CURRENTLY. THIS TRUCK IS PRICED WELL BELOW ANY OTHER TRUCK IN THIS CONDITION ON THE INTERNET. PRICED TO SELL TO A LUCKY NEW OWNER. PLEASE READ THE COMPLETE AD, AND VIEW ALL THE PHOTOS AND LINKS. ALL NEW PARTS AND RESTORATION WORK IS DOCUMENTED IN THE AD, RIGHT DOWN TO NEW BODY BUSHINGS. DON’T HESITATE ON THIS ONE, IT WON’T LAST. The style for the 1965 and 1966 remained essentially the same, with a few minor changes. There was no need to make drastic changes. The success of the truck line, built since 1913, was verified by the sale of the ten millionth truck in 1966. 1960-1966 represents the first generation of the modern C series Chevrolet trucks. The generation is viewed by collectors as the iconic truck, incorporating revolutionary mechanical and comfort designs. Most important of these were a drop-center ladder frame, allowing the cab to sit lower, and independent front suspension, giving an almost car-like ride in a truck. Chevrolet transitioned the pick up truck from essentially a farm and work truck, to a vehicle capable of every day use. This concept lives on today, and recreational trucks far outnumber work trucks. Chevrolet can be credited with this revolution. The fourth and final generation of the C/K line was the 1988-2002 platform. The aging C/K line was replaced with the Silverado series. Chevrolet has continued over the years to be in the forefront of style and passenger comfort. It all began with the first generation C/K series. We specialize in the unique and rare, future investment affordable collector vehicles at old school prices. Since 1978 we have been a leader in finding rare and desirable cars. Most of our finds have done extremely well for our customers in terms of investments and enjoyment. Here is an example of a rare 1 of LS6 Chevelle we sold for 50k in the early 2000’s. http://www.classicmusclecars.com/cgi-bin/swrm/det.cgi?id=131&bl=m-;;k-;;nhs-195;;status-Sold;;sb- It was recently on eBay for 129k and has apparently sold. We sold this car in 1999, we found it, researched it, documented it, restored it. Recently in the collection of internationally known collector Ron Pratte. http://www.barrett-jackson.com/Archive/Event/Item/1970-CHEVROLET-CHEVELLE-SS-396-CONVERTIBLE-178646 Another example, we brokered the only 1968 Camaro Z-28 Convertible in July 1993 for 165K, it sold in 2002 for over 7 figures. These are just a couple of examples of the thousands of cars we have sold, and many were super investments. We know the rare muscle car market like no one on the planet. This 1966 C20 is a rare Vintage Classic Truck that fits into this category of an investment and enjoyment vehicle. It is a blue chip investment quality classic. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE UPDATE JULY 2, THIS ADD HAS ONLY BEEN OUT A FEW DAYS, THANK YOU FOR ALL THE QUESTIONS OFFERS COMMENTS, I DECIDED TO LOWER THE PRICE TO $13,900 BIN NO OFFERS, HOPEFULLY THAT SAVE HAGGLE TIME. THANKS! Auto restoration shop offers the owner’s personal 1966 Chevy C20 pickup 2WD. This truck was built as a nice driver to be driven daily. 99% rust free high desert truck to start with. Bought from the original owners family with approximately 44,000 miles on the clock. Truck has 48,xxx miles on it now, underwent restoration a few years ago. This is one of the best running/driving old trucks on the road. It is sorted out, very fun and dependable. Driven in the local car show cruise 110 degree heat a few days ago, never gets over 190 degrees. Great simple honest driver, has been driven consistently 100-250 miles at a time. Owner’s 115 lb wife drives it often over the six figure cars in their collection. The test drive sells this truck. Truck goes, stops, drives straight. Click this PhotoBucket link for 75 pictures of this truck. http://s953.photobucket.com/user/fj40man79/library/1966%20C20 Click this link for a 9 minute YouTube video of this truck. https://youtu.be/dcNfdHnrm98 MECHANICAL 4000 miles ago the truck was mechanically rebuilt end to end. Rebuilt stock type 250HP small block Chevy with hedders, HEI (Electronic) ignition, Electric choke Holley 4 barrel. Clutch and transmission rebuilt, brakes completely redone. The 3 speed on the tree transmission is so much fun and shifts perfectly. The rear axle was changed from 4.56 gears to 3.70 gears. Cruises right along at 65-70 MPH. Column mounted Tachometer, external Oil and Temp gauge, gas/amp/speed work great. New shocks, stock GM wheels with beauty rings and Chevy caps. The turn signal switch and wiring replaced. Truck does not have power steering, does not need it. Small woman drives it around town with no complaints. Dual exhaust to quiet mufflers. BODY Truck started out 99% rust free and straight. Painted blue/white a few years ago. Truck is straight, very little filler used at all. Bed was recently redone in wood with a heavy clear coat for durability, the strips are aluminum with stainless hardware. Bed caps and inside are Linexed. Looks great! Seat redone a few years ago, most of the rubber seals have been replaced. This truck was built to be driven, it’s not a perfect trailer queen vehicle. You may find a slight imperfection in pictures or not able to see in pics, I’m comparing to a 1000 point show car. No nasty surprises. I’m confident if you have driven several old trucks, you will be pleasantly surprised how good and how much fun this truck is to drive. No drama or working on it all the time, just enjoy. Selling off some personal collection to finance other toys, get a great problem free truck at a reasonable price, take a road trip you day you receive it. 3rd party inspections are welcome during not after the auction at owner’s shop under his supervision. He owns Auto Appraisals & Pre-Buy Inspections so skip him when looking in the phone book. Clear clean WA state title in hand for this truck. No deposit required, but full payment expected within 3 business days closed auction, bank to bank wire to US Bank business account preferred, but will also take certified check in mail with tracking #. Vintage 1970 Chevrolet C20 Chevy 454 V8 Patina Rat Rod Gas Truck This is a very nice 1970 C20 3/4 ton long bed pickup with patina finish, original 16.5” red wheels with matching spare and all 5 new tires. Has new interior upholstered seat, visors and dash, Grant steering wheel, big block 454 V8 with Edelbrock chrome parts and Mickey Thompson covers. The truck body is in very good shape with a few dings and original patina finish as shown. There are a few chrome pieces and grill that show some light damage but all around very good condition with almost no body rust damage anywhere being a native Arizona truck. Still has the original title from 1970 and is a one owner vehicle. Has had some custom work such as dual tanks added but only one tank is currently hooked up. The stereo deck was also switched out and a push button turn key combo ignition. This truck roars down the road and everything is working. No leaks or issues, motor runs like a champ and just got new brakes. Thanks for looking and happy bidding :-)

Fantastic in every way, my 1972 Chevy is sure to delights it's next owner. This truck looks fantastic, drives beautifully, and sounds incredible. It has approximately 2,000 miles on it since a complete overhaul and engine rebuild, including transmission and four wheel drive transfer case. The odometer reads 7,800 or so, but I don't know the exact original mileage. Neither does the previous owner but based on its condition, we don't feel this is a very high mileage truck. I honestly don't believe it only has 7,800 miles on it. Great looking paint (less than two years old) and tons of new chrome. Very very straight and very very solid and clean, including underneath. The truck has been lifted, and sports Goodrich 33's on chrome rims. Ceramic headers and dual Flowmasters give the truck an incredible throaty sound to the original 350 V8 that was completely rebuilt. This truck will go down the highway at 75 with ease. A real head turner and still a daily driver if you want it to be. I live five miles from work and drive it work most days during the summer. I have my eye on something else so this one must go. She is not a trailer queen, and has a few minor blemishes, but overall an excellent looking truck and a reliable vehicle. Everything looks and works true to the original chevy specs. This is one beautiful machine. Newer paintRebuilt 350, mild cam, 4 brl carb, electronic ignitionRebuilt transfer caseNewer BF Goodrich all terrain tiresRancho shocks, shimmy damperHeadersDual Flowmasters, stainless exhaust, chrome tips on both sidesNew front inner fendersRebuilt heater core, works excellentNew batteryAll gauges work accuratelyStainless rear bumper with heavy duty frame hitch2nd gas tank in wheel wellMetal bed with spray in linerNew chrome step barsAM/FM period radio with kick panel speakersAll new door and window sealsDiamond plate bed rails(4)Chrome fender archesReupholstered interior - looks newNow the cons; the horn isn't wired. It's there and works but it's not wired. There's a couple of minor paint scratches, nothing you can see from a few feet but she does have a couple of nicks. Absolutely nothing significant that can't be easily touched up. The paint around the antenna has minor cracks, and a tiny bit of overspray on the rubber in one or two spots. The steering wheel is an original reproduction. The bed has a few dings and marks, again nothing significant. I installed a set of chrome door sills that need to come off again and get shaved down a few mills. I left them on but they make the doors a little harder to close. The rims have a little glazing here and there. They still look great, but they are showing signs of wear. I've never tried anything to clean them up as I think they're fine, but there's lots of options on the market for getting these back to new condition. Overall this is a sweet machine. I've thoroughly enjoyed it and get compliments on it everywhere I take it. Show it on a Saturday night and then taker her four-wheeling on Sunday. This is an incredibly fun truck to drive, to show, and to own. As an avid antique car/truck collector, I've noticed these trucks are appreciating nicely too. $1,000 deposit via paypal at close of auction, 72 hours to complete sale after that. Will assist in loading to transporter if necessary. Please feel free to call me with any questions, or simply email me and I'll reply with hours. Thanks for looking. Keep on truckin'
