1969 Chevrolet Stepside Longbed. Stepside longbed trucks are rare. This truck has a 350 with Turbo 350 3 speed transmission, power steering, tilt wheel, AM/FM CD radio. The truck runs and drives great. I have driven it on a 100 mile trip recently. The interior has a later model Chevy seat that is in very nice condition with no rips or tears. Carpet is an indoor/outdoor type and in good conditon. Dash pad is excellent. It is missing an armrest on one side and the sun visors. There is some rust above above the windshield, which is weird as the exterior roof is in excellent condition. It is only about 1/2 inche wide in the widest spot so could be easily be repaired with a patch of metal. All gauges work and turn signals work. Brake lights and headlights work. Heat works, but defrost vent tubes are not connected. Interior lights on dash are not working. Signal lights work. Radio and CD player work. The engine runs great. It appears stock except headers, dual exhaust, chrome valve covers, chrome air cleaner, and chrome alternator bracket. It is a four barrell engine witha Quadrajet carb. Appears to be mid-70's to early 80's 350. Does not smoke or leak. Transmission is 3 speed column shift. Shifts and pulls smoothly. It has drum brakes on all four corners. It brakes well and stops in a straight line. The paint is "farm truck" paint. It has chips and scratches on it. It would be great to paint a vintage garage sign on it and use it as a shop truck. The front fenders are very nice with no rust. The hood is rust free, but has a couple of dings. The doors have rust in the lower rear corners. The left door also has rust around the hinges. The roof, cab corners and outer rockers appear rust free. The inner rockers have some rust through areas. The floor panels are rust free. The bed, beside some minor dings and worn paint, is very nice. No rust in the the bed at all. It has a wood floor under the diamond plate cover of the floor. All braces are in great shape. The door jambs look great except the left door was apparently allowed to swing open hard and caused a stress crack in the door jamb by the door hinges. With the door taken off, it can be welding and repaired easy. Based on the condition of most unrestored 67-72 trucks, this one is pretty solid. This truck is would be nice to use as a shop truck, farm truck, or would be a great truck to due a full resto on. I have a clear TN registration on the truck. I just filed to have the title change to my name so I will have a clear TN title in the mail over the next week or two. I have many photos of the truck. If you need additional photos I have not posted, please send over a message with an email address I can send those over to you. The truck is for sale locally so the auction may end early if it sells locally.
