It is a factory 4WD, short bed truck and is a very hard truck to find. I saw one of these sell at Barrett Jackson car auction last year for over $80,000 in restored condition got a bug up my ass to buy one and add it to my car collection. I wound up buying it in a package deal with a Hummer H1 and after looking at it for 6 months and not touching it, I decided I want the parking space back. I purchased it in exactly the same condition it sits now and have very little information about it's history. What I do know is that I purchased it out of California and it has been there for some time as indicated by the stack of registration stickers on the California license plates it has. As per the vin # it is a factory V8, 4WD truck that was build in Fremont, California. It was not running when I purchased it but it looks like everything under the hood is all hooked up and was running not too long ago. It has a small block Chevy motor, 4 speed manual transmission and the transfer case all intact. It had 3/4 ton or 1 ton front and rear ends installed in it but they are not hooked up including the brake lines and missing the drives haft. The rear end is a 14 bolt and currently has 20 inch 8 lug wheels on it. The frame and underbody looks to be in nice shape without any rust issues. For Sale is my 1966 Chevy C10 short bed 2wd. Truck has a New Paint job with all body work done to the max, this Job alone was $6000 from a very rebuttal shop in the Phoenix location. See by the pictures all filler holes, bed complete removed, Ect "NOT" your standard quick spray like most. Moving on, the engine and transmission paint has faded, but are in perfect running order. The Brakes are new. Power steering upgrade makes this C10 Steer like a dream. The interior is aftermarket looks great however one might want to re do the seat maybe?? I like it just the way it is. I am 6ft 2" and fit in it like a new car. The truck has new window rollers and new door handles along with a new front bumper. The chrome is a solid 9 of 10. I would say 10 but The rear bumper and side moldings were enough for not warranting replacement. The bottom line this is a great driver C10 the way it sits or turn it into a killer street machine, hot rod, drag truck, gasser, bagged lowered.
