I started redoing this for my wife and i to cruise around in on the weekends. She got sick went in the hospital now she is disabled and unable to get in it. I dont have time or money to do anything else to it. It has a new 350 motor put in it in 2012 prob only has about 8k miles on it. 35" mud tires 6" BDS susp lift 3" body lift. It runs great for an old truck. the inside is painted same as outside has carpet. i have the top for it but some kids shot the side windows with a pelet gum. the truck runs great. also new exhaust.

With fresh paint and interior, off-road-rated hardware underneath, and a no-nonsense look, it's in-the-dirt fun that remains eminently affordable. Remember that this truck was built in 1988, so the brown and tan color scheme would have been right at home on the streets or in the dirt back then. Fortunately, it's back in style today and the recently-applied finish looks great. Aside from the hood, all the sheetmetal is apparently original, giving us a pretty good insight into the care that this truck has enjoyed over the years. In fact, it's likely that it was nowhere near this shiny when it was new, given the limitations of GM paint in the '80s, and they shaved a few details while they were at it to enhance the brutal look. No emblems, no chrome wheel arch moldings, and no hood ornament all give this Blazer a rather sleek look. The grille should be familiar to anyone who was paying attention to cars and trucks in the '70s and '80s and you could probably make the argument that Chevy hasn't built a better-looking SUV since this one. The chrome that does remain, including the bumpers and big side mirrors, is in excellent condition and offers a great contrast to the dark paint. Fresh two-tone seat covers set the tone inside, where it looks bright, clean, and like 1988 all over again. Fortunately, that's a good thing, because the bucket seats are comfortable, the new carpets make it feel luxurious, and there's room for three across in back with no complaints. The factory gauges cover the primary functions and still look pretty good considering their age and there's a handy center console for storage between the seats. Factory options include A/C (now using R134a refrigerant), a tilt steering column, and an AM/FM radio that's definitely a blast from the past. The cargo bay is finished with a durable black spray-on coating and has enough room for that big camping trip you've been planning or just a trip to Home Depot this weekend. And yes, the fiberglass roof is removable for a cool open-air driving experience that appears to be unique to 4x4 vehicles. The 350 cubic inch V8 is the truck's original block, but it's been recently rebuilt and fortified with an upgraded camshaft, a TBI riser to boost torque production, and new seals throughout. At a glance, it looks quite stock, including the factory air cleaner, and that's purely intentional because the name of the game with this truck is reliability. While the powertrain was out, the 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission and 2-speed transfer case were rebuilt and both axles were rebuilt with new bearings and seals, so no worries about plunging into the brush. The undercarriage isn't restored, but at the same time you won't find any cause for alarm and it honestly doesn't look like this truck has spent much time off-roading, although with a modest suspension lift it's certainly capable. Black powdercoated MB Motoring wheels add a brutal look and carry aggressive 31x10.50-15 Goodyear Wrangler radials. A neat old 4x4 with a lot of money invested to keep it at the top of its game. If you remember these trucks, you've probably wanted one for a long time, and this is an excellent choice. Wearing a cool period-correct color scheme and upgraded rolling stock, it has a fantastic look and with a robust small block and a long list of options, this is the one to own if you're looking for an early Chevy SUV. If someone described this truck to you, you'd probably not picture this gorgeous orange and white combination with a black hardtop, you have to admit that it's downright spectacular. Thanks to a full rotisserie restoration, the truck is probably better than new in most of the ways that matter, with a high-quality paint job that simply glows. Factory paint never looked like this and with crisp masking lines, excellent gaps, and a ton of block sanding under the paint, this might just be the nicest Blazer we've ever featured. The removable top still proposes having fun in the sun and with a roof rack, this is a truck that'll go anywhere and do anything you're interested in doing. Great chrome, nice badges, and oversized side mirrors that have been painted black to match the top all help give this truck a fantastic look. The black interior has also been treated to a no-holds-barred restoration, including fresh leather seat covers on the front buckets and rear bench, new black carpets, and door panels that are so crisply rendered that they have to be new, too. There's a surprising amount of woodgraining inside, all of which still shows remarkably well, giving the big SUV a rather upscale feel. Options include factory A/C and the original AM radio, which seems to be the only thing on the truck that wasn't fully restored. There's a broad center console for convenience and while the shift lever for the TH350 3-speed automatic transmission is on the steering column, the 4-wheel-drive system is managed by a floor-mounted lever. The cargo bay is dominated by a full-sized spare with its own cover, but there's still lots of room for your gear and it's all covered in more black carpet to give it a very finished look. This is the original, numbers-matching 350 cubic inch V8 under the hood and it will prove to be more than adequate for getting this Blazer anywhere you need to go. Rebuilt to stock specs, it's all about the torque and still uses a factory air cleaner, 4-barrel carburetor, and cast iron exhaust manifolds to do it. The A/C system was upgraded to R134a refrigerant and all the ancillary parts are new, including belts, hoses, fasteners, and even the power brake booster and master cylinder. The TH350 3-speed automatic transmission shifts easily and feeds a 2-speed transfer case and a pair of beefy axles: a Dana 44 up front and a GM 12-bolt out back. The chassis is fully detailed with body-colored floors framing a semi-gloss chassis with red oxide primer on the mechanicals and a new dual exhaust system. New lines, hoses, and a fresh gas tank out back ensure reliability in the brush and big 265/75/16 Cooper off-road radials and 16-inch MB alloys give it a great 4x4 stance. Why? Perhaps it's because they made a fraction as many of these as they did pickup trucks. Maybe a lot of them were just used as intended and just got used up along the way. Or maybe it's just because their owners love them so much they're unwilling to let them go. Whatever the reason, it's easy to see why these trucks remain perennial favorites for off-road fans. The chiseled good looks are obviously based on the pickup trucks, but there's so much more to a Blazer than just a pickup with a cap. The proportions are exactly right and when rendered in white, it's a big, high-visibility piece of 4x4 hardware that looks tough enough to climb a mountain. It appears that this one is still wearing original paint, which will give you a very good indication of how well-maintained it really is. The contrasting dark blue lower rocker panel areas make it look a lot sleeker and the white painted top gives it a unified look, unlike the usual black top that can be jarring to look at. Nice chrome and stainless trim give the Blazer an upscale look and this later example has the desirable stacked headlights up front. The blue interior looks straight out of the 1980s, and that's not a bad thing. New seat covers match the original velour material and patterns and work well with things like the original door panels and carpet. It's got a few signs of use, but overall this truck continues to impress us with its preservation. The gauges still offer bright markings, the back seat looks almost completely unused, and even the cargo area shows well. Features include factory A/C, power windows and locks, a tilt wheel, and the original AM/FM/cassette stereo system with big speakers in the cargo bay. The top is indeed removable and there's something special about a topless blazer on a sunny day, making it easy to imagine taking this truck to the beach or to your favorite remote spot. There's a full-sized spare on board, so you never have to worry about getting stranded with a flat. The engine is GM's tried-and-true 350 cubic inch V8 with throttle body fuel injection (TBI). It's easy to spot with that unique air cleaner and the engine bay is shockingly clean for a 30-year-old truck. Despite being a 350 Chevy, it's completely stock, so it starts easily and runs smoothly with good torque that moves the big truck without ever feeling like it's working hard. Backed by a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission, this big 4x4 actually does pretty well on the highway and with a 2-speed transfer case and heavy-duty axles, it also has the hardware to crawl through some pretty rough terrain. The exhaust has a pleasant V8 sound that's muted enough to make this a favorite long-distance cruiser and it sits right on factory wheels with big 31x10.50-15 white-letter off-road radials that fill the wheel wells perfectly. Look for these trucks to become a lot more popular in coming years as values on early Broncos skyrocket. And that's not even taking into account just how much fun these are to drive.
