This one is for all you Astro guru's out there who have been looking for a wholesome AWD with incredibly low, all original miles. It's my 2000 with just 59k. Complete with a new PA inspection this van is ready to go. Mechanically this Astro runs strong. Motor sounds healthy through all the RPM's. Trans shifts great through all the RPM's. Drives down the road well. Steering is nice and tight and brakes feel good. Has a brand new PA inspection. A/C is cold. Power windows work.Tires have about 95% tread left. All around a great example of a well cared for van mechanically. Cosmetically it's in great shape as well. Patin shines like new in the sun. Body is nice and straight with maybe a door ding if you look close. Only flaw outside of a light scratch or two that I found is the little crack in the lower front bumper that is pictured. Overall very nice. Interior is as fresh as they come. Seats are all in great shape and aren't blown out. Carpet and headliner also very nice. Smells good and hasn't been smoked in. My wife and I love this vehicle and the only reason we are selling it is to be able to tow a very large travel trailer (6,000+lbs) on a regular basis and we would rather sell her so she stays nice than ruin her pulling too much weight. We purchased this vehicle used from a car dealership this past March. She has served us well. The kids are going to miss her.Please read this section thoroughly before bidding...CONDITION:Very Good (especially considering the age of the vehicle)RUST FREE FRAME!2001 Chevy Astro Conversion Van AWD 4.3 L V6 engine 157,000 milesRecently inspectedLooks and Runs great!***New Parts and recent service:I replaced both running boards a few weeks ago. Had them custom-made brand-new ($1,300)Newly inspected in PA!New oil change!!Recent complete tuneup ($950!)Brand-new fuel pump wires ($300)The conversion top was recently repainted this past March and shines bright and beautiful!! ($600)This model comes factory with AMFM CD and tape but it has been upgraded and now contains a television and slightly used CD/DVD/MP3 player with remote. ($150)***There are a few signs of wear and tear which can be expected with how old this vehicle is... including, (a) medium sized dent above the rear bumper in the passenger side rear quarter panel as pictured, (b) minor scratches around the vehicle where pinstripes had been removed which may be able to be buffed out, (c) some signs of minor touchup in various places throughout the exterior body, (d) small nickel to quarter sized dent in pass fender near hood, small dent as pictured in the front bumper (e) medium sized swirly scratch on driver side rear, (f) few signs of age and usage in/on the upholstery including but not limited to fading, discoloration, slight tearing, etc. (g) ripple shaped dents on lower part of the driver side door (as pictured) there is also some damage to pinstripes where the damage occurred.
